Hotel Argentina — Hotel in Atlántida

At first, the best place in this hotel is the oversized spa (heated) and not the rooms,.....this is a fact, a lot of guest agreed !!!||Okay,.....from the beginning; I and my girlfriend stayed at hotel Argentina from 23. January 2012 to the 5. February 2012,.....we ordered a superior-room. I wanted to make sure that I have a better room, because I couldn't get a lot of comments at Tripadvisor about this hotel, but it was recommended to me as the best hotel in Atlantida,.....so I was careful !!!||As I saw the superior room, I recognized at first that they saved the second night-stand and used the mini-bar as night-stand instead,.....well !!!||Then I went to the bathroom and I saw a curtain which was hiding a small area, I thought it was a place for a garbage-can, but as I was looking for the shower I recognized that this is the place to take the shower; I never so such a small area used as shower-place and this should be the superior-room,.....well !!!||Okay,.....I went to the manager and told him that a shower like this in a superior-room is ridiculous, but his answer was exactly; "THIS IS SOUTH-AMERICA " !!!||After two day's I figured out, that they have also rooms with balcony's and I was sure that this manager fooled me. So I wanted to see the rooms with the balcony and as I saw the rooms I was right, bigger shower, nice balcony, a second night-stand,.....okay, the carpet was destroyed and the storache and the windows were probably 50 years old, but this room was much better for sure,.....my girlfriend agreed !!!||So we changed the rooms,.....the sad thing was, that this was also a fight,.....okay, but we had now "real" rooms for the rest of our vacation !!!||By the way,.....the TV is horrible, if you like permanent snow at the most channels, you are right at this hotel,.....the breakfast was okay, but they were to lazy to cut the fruits or prepare a fruit-salad, they offered just apples and bananas,.....the wireless-access worked in every place well, so that was the second best thing beside the headed spa !!!||Sorry, this hotel is terrible and poor,.....but I give two points instead one point, because the family who run this hotel is allright.||If you want a much, much better maintained hotel, then you should choose the "Paradise" direct at the beach in Atlantida,.....the rooms are new and clean, they have two flat-screen TV's,.....wow, one flat-screen TV is in the living-room direct beside a nice fire-place,.....a wonderful place just 20,-$ the day more,.....with a heated spa either, but with a real size swimming-pool.||||i hope my review was helpful,...

This property offers nice, clean rooms with flat screen TV, air conditioner, and a nice shower. The rooms are not very big but you will not find any better in the area. The property also offers a very nice breakfast with local menu, wi-fi, garage for your car, pool, and a play room with ping pong table and foosball/soccer table for the kids. ||The prices are reasonable for the services it offers. The best feature is its proximity to the beaches and the restaurants of downtown Atlantida (you can leave your car in the garage and forget about it). Everything is within walking distance or a short bike ride.||The personnel is very attentive and amiable. Guillermo the owner will try to ensure you have a great time during your visit. Atlantida is a small beach town with very nice beaches, and you will be immersed in...

We just spent a week at the Hotel Argentina in Atlantida, Uruguay. The hotel offers a complete breakfast, a game room for kids, free wifi, swimming pool, air conditioning and garage. ||We received wonderful personalized attention by Guillermo at the reception. ||The nice thing about the hotel is the attention by the staff, and the fact that within walking distance you can access two different beaches, the center of town and all its restaurants and shops. Car is not needed.||We enjoyed a our Atlantida vacation and are looking forward to...
