Marinas del Riachuelo — Hotel in Colonia

A very clean modest family run motel - hostel that is 15 minutes drive from Colonia historic town center. Room was small modest with a very hard bed but very clean and comfortable for our last 2 nights in Uruguay. The hosts Cynthia and her family were very hospitable and welcoming. There is a barbaque area and a lovely pool area with shade. Very reasonably priced and value for money accommodation. At the end of the road is a park with a small yahct ramp area and a short walk around a small lake. We hired the bikes at the hostel and rode down but it is only a short walk. The park has adult sized playground equipment. The weather was lovely so we spent a few hours at the park enjoying the sunshine. Highly recomend this modest value for money...

She've made everything to make us comfortable in her accomodations and gave us complete info about Colonia (what to do, where to eat, etc.) The place is amazing, we've felt like in a country house.
