Las Eduardas is located just a couple of kms from the centre of La Paloma, right by the beach which you access via a private wooden path.||||Our panoramic seaview room was just that, offering great views over the ocean. Although not luxurious, the very high ceilings gave the room a plesant, airy feel. ||||It was however, quite difficult to lock the room as the contraption of the aluminum sliding door and mosquito net (an absolute must as this part of La Paloma certainly has its fair share of mosquitoes) didn't seem to be very well thought through.||||The hotel lacks any kind of common room where breakfast can be served so you're treated to breakfast in the room (or in bed if you wish). This sounds great. ||However, there are two problems.||Firstly, breakfast is very, very basic.||Secondly, you are kindly asked to use the cups, glasses and cuttlery in the kitchen (all rooms are equiped with one). You get it here. You might hear a noise at night that sounds like the place is surrounded by little kittens. I found out they are toads! |As a curtesy I will not review the breakfast but they bring it out for you to sit in front of the apartment. |All in all:...
Read moreOwner Marta (who radiates pleasure in hosting you) and staff (Liliana especially during our stay) make this hotel a great place to stay. There is an attitude of can-do, of real hospitality, that pervades the entire property. The layout is attractive, the rooms are nice, the boardwalk to the beach is really nice, the location on Anaconda Beach is great - and the people made our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean, and the grounds impeccably-maintained. There is a child-friendly space outside with lots of toys. We could have used more screens on the windows and doors because like most beach locations, there...
