Located far away from the busy city of Punta del Este, in a beautiful area with great views. Huge resort area with golf course, river club and also many private homes, so the area is really big and you can make long walks or bike rides in this resort. The sunsets are fantastic. Really an outstanding location. I really loved it because it was very quiet and relaxing.||||Also the architecture of the hotel and the whole resort is excellent. Very modern but still cozy. The main house with two restaurants, reception and lounge is very nice and boasts great views over the whole area. The design is definitely a great plus in this hotel.||||The design of the rooms is also very nice. They have fantastic views and the sunsets are to die for. The bathrooms is big with a large shower. The room has also enough room for clothes. Unfortunately there is not so much light so it can be difficult to find a place for reading where you have enough light. ||||The Spa is very nice, has a big gym and a small pool and some saunas. Two tennis courts are located in a nice area. The river club is nice but be aware there are many mosquitoes on the riverside.||||The hotel is beautiful as mentioned above, however there are two areas of improvement: while most staff members are extremely friendly, the service is not on a very high level. You often need to ask for simple things, many things are forgotten. The second improvement point is the food quality which is also not corresponding to the level of the hotel. Hopefully they can improve these two main areas, then it could be a perfect place. Words cannot describe this beautiful weekend experience. I decided to spend a weekend there before heading to Montevideo for work. ||The service began well in advance.of the visit. Concierge services got in touch to ensure that my visit was well-planned and catered to my every need.||I was picked up at the airport by the hotel transport arrived earlier than expected. I was not only given an amazing room upgrade but was also given am early check-in at 10am and a late checkout the next day at 1.30pm. ||An extraordinary property with decadent features and a personalised service that left me amazed. The views are amazing and it is off the Richter scale peaceful with beautiful gardens and architecture.||I decided to stay on the main property but you can also get beautiful standalone bungalows. Transport is arranged easily on the 500+ hectare property using golf carts (there is also a golf course on the property for golf enthusiasts!)||I had a spa treatment, swum in the beautiful spa pool and used the huge gym, went horseriding, had a personalised yoga class, did a 2 hour day trip to the seaside and enjoyed the restaurants on the property.
