Ada Hotel — Hotel in Tashkent

We stayed here for a night because we had an early flight out of Tashkent. The hotel is very new, modern and clean and the staff are very helpful and speak good English. It has a restaurant but we didn’t use it so can’t comment on the food. Our room was a decent size, beds were comfy. Only thing wrong with the room was the shower head in the bathroom which was blocked and needed sorting, apart from that everything was fine. The hotel is located on the ring road on the south side of Tashkent airport, about 2 miles from the domestic terminal, so it is convenient if flying into/out of there, but it should be noted that there does not appear to be a shuttle between the domestic and international terminals, you have to take a taxi. The international terminal is not particularly close to the hotel, it’s about 6 miles away and depending on traffic conditions can take 25 minutes or so. The hotel advertises an airport shuttle, but this is not complimentary, it costs $20. However, they will call you a taxi, which to the international terminal should cost about $5. The road outside the hotel is very busy and there isn’t much around the hotel, there is a shop a short walk away on the other side of the road to the right, (be sure to cross at the crossing point just outside the hotel, there’s nowhere to cross further down and the pavement is full of deep holes!). Reception staff were friendly and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised at the size and comfort of my room. Everything spotlessly clean too. Excellent value for money! There’s not really anything of note within walking distance of the hotel, but it’s a great location for an overnight stay before an early flight to Urgench – about 10 mins by taxi to the domestic terminal. (I arrived on foot from Tolariq metro station, though Qiyot is actually closer.) Because I had to leave around 5am, staff kindly gave me a packed breakfast; this needs to be requested in advance. Definitely a good choice as a base if you need to be at the domestic terminal early. NB: I only had to wait 2 mins for a Yandex taxi even at that time in the morning, and it cost...

The property is excellent with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very modern and is close to the airport. The rooms are very nice with comfy beds and beautiful interior design. I arrived late in the evening when the hotel restaurant did not work, however, the personnel showed true Uzbek hospitality and arranged for me some dishes from the nearby restaurant.
