ARG HOTEL — Hotel in Tashkent

On the 25/04/2024 we called to book a room at this hotel. The lady on the phone quoted us 500,000-UZSOM per night and ''booked'' us a room. When we arrived at hotel reception we received a rather cold welcome from the hotel manager named Saber. Saber initially told us ''There are no rooms available as the hotel is fully booked'' Having explained our telephone conversation with the lady only an hour ago. Saber then miraculously made a room available BUT at cost of 600,000SOM per night. Despite our best efforts in trying to make him understand our booking had already taken place with an agreed price. Saber refused to honour our booking and told us ''If you aren't interested the hotel rooms will sell themselves'' My advice to the owners of this establishment: Saber is in urgent need of customer services training, because if the words Warm Welcome slapped him on the face, this person will not understand the meaning of it.
