Location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of Termez. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to look after me. I was travelling by myself so it made it a lot easier and stress free that the hotel was able to arrange for me transport to and from the airport. Breakfast was great- there were a lot of options and even when I overslept and showed up just after the end of breakfast service they still kindly cooked me up a delicious omelette and didn't clear away the buffet until after I was finished. The hotel also arranged a great sight seeing tour which I really enjoyed and was so much easier than attempting to visit the local sites by myself. I got to see Fayoz tepa, kora tepa and al khakhim at Termezi as well as a view of hayratom friendship bridge. The guide was very knowledgable and spoke perfect English. I had a great weekend and would highly recommend staying here. If I visit Termez again I wouldn’t think twice about booking to...
Read moreThis hotel is not a bad place to stay. Its not incredibly cheap but its well located, and comfortable. I did face a major issue here though: bed bugs. Three days later, I'm still covered in bites. ||||I doubt all the rooms have bed bugs, but mine certainly did. Easily visible in the mattress seams. Unfortunately, it was not handled well. After moving to a new room, I noticed that the room with the bugs had just been cleaned and was ready for the next guest! I can't guarantee they didn't change the mattress, but it sure didn't seem like it. I was also disappointed that, after moving me to a smaller room, they also tried to RAISE the price, citing low vacancy that day. The manager offered me a free beer at the bar and was kind overall, but I would have thought a refund was in order, not a price raise. Especially now, after 3...
Read moreAfter reading the reviews for the hotels in Termez, I was excepting something terrible. This wasn't the case at all. The manager of the hotel Laylo was extremely kind and helpful. She herself came with a driver to pick me up from the airport. She helped me to organize a driver for archaeological site visits and also a trip to a silk factory. The restaurant connected to the hotel is very convenient. Breakfast is in the room cost, but you can also have lunch or dinner there for a very reasonable price. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean, the only complaint is that even non-smoking rooms still have the remnants of smoke smell in them. Also, a hot water kettle for coffee and tea in the rooms would...
