Hotel Uzbegim — Hotel in Urgench

The rooms are way below the standard, first half an hour after checked in I stayed in the room which was getting a lot of street traffic noise and requested to get another room they moved me into a room which was half the size, when I had to start working I found out the room did not have any lights, all the lights had went out, asked them to give me another room immediately they said rooms were all booked out which was a lie, they had a lot of other rooms the same night I could not sleep due to the uncomfortable bedding, the bed linen and sheets were smelly, the pillows and the bed was ROCK HARD, it even made me puky looking at those used towels put on top of the bed, I had to hand sanitize after touching them, the water pressure was too low could not shower for 2 nights i stayed, the next day they upgraded me to another room at my request which was even worse, not only was the bed mattress rock hard but also squeaky it kept creaking every time i turned over, i kindly asked them to change the room as I needed a room that meets basic living standards with enough lighting, no street traffic noise, no noise from the neighboring rooms and comfortable bedding which every hotel is obliged to provide at the basic level, none of the rooms they showed met any of my standards so I decided to check out 2 days later, they had the audacity to charge me for full 3 days, even tho i checked out one and a half days later, instead of apologizing for the damage and inconvenience they caused, 5 men came at me with threats even used violence to charge me for 3 days, I’ll file a lawsuit against the hotel and take them to the court, they don’t speak any foreign languages ona proficient level, if u want to have a pleasant experience staying in the city choose other hotels around I recommend checking out Hotel Uzbekistan!! They offer better services and handle customer requests professionally!||Номера намного ниже стандарта, первые полчаса после регистрации я осталась в номере, которая получала много шума от машин на улице, и попросила другой номер, они перевели меня в номер, который был вдвое меньше, когда мне пришлось начать работать, я узнала что в комнате нет света, все лампы согрелись, попросила их немедленно дать мне другую комнату, они сказали, что все номера забронированы, что было ложью, у них было много других комнат в ту же ночь, когда я не могла спать из-за вонючего постельного белья, постельное белье и простыни были вонючими, подушки и кровать были ТВЕРДЫМИ, на следующий день они переселили меня в другую комнату по моей просьбе, которая была даже еще хуже, не только кровать была твердой, но и скрипучей, она продолжала скрипеть, я любезно попросила их сменить номер опять, так как мне нужна была номер, который соответствует основным стандартам жилья, с достаточным освещением, без шума уличного движения и удобной кроватью и чистым постельным бельем, ни одна из комнат, которые они показали, не соответствовала моим стандартам, поэтому я решила выселиться через 2 дня, они взяли с меня плату за полные 3 Дни, даже если я рассказала им о неудобствах, вызванных их плохим обслуживанием, вместо того, чтобы извиниться за ущерб и неудобства, которые они причинили, 5 мужчин пришли ко мне с угрозами, даже применили насилие, чтобы обвинить меня в течение 3 дней, я подам иск против отеля и отдам их в суд, они не говорят ни на одном иностранном языке на профессиональном уровне, у них обстановка одинаковая во всех номерах не смотря на цены!! Комнаты расположены рядом с друг другом и вы через стены все можете услышать. если вы хотите получить приятный опыт пребывания в городе, выберите другие отели поблизости, я рекомендую проверить отель Uzbekistan!! Они предлагают лучшие услуги и профессионально обрабатывают...

We were very disappointed with this hotel. A kind man helped us with our suitcases to our 2nd floor room. The two rooms were large and spacious. However, the bathroom had not been cleaned properly - bathmats and toilet mats were dirty. One of the handtowels was stained. Only one bathtowel was left on the bed, but we booked for 2 people. There was an undersheet on the bed, which was crinkled & looked used, and no top sheet. I asked the lady at reception for the room to be properly cleaned, and she said Yes, but nothing was done. We slept in our clothes on the bed, lying on one of our own sarongs.|We left very early next morning and the hotel provided us with a breakfast box. The same kind man drove us to the airport. I have never had to write a review like this before. I can only hope the hotel makes sure there are high cleaning standards...

We stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The location is fantastic, but unfortunately, the room was very small, and the water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent. We couldn’t take a proper shower and had to wait until our next hotel stay.

The pillows were too thick and firm, and the bed made noise every time you turned over. The walls were also very thin, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

The hotel offered to drive us to a place where we could relax, which we appreciated. However, it was the owner’s father who drove, and he drove like he had a death wish. He reached speeds of 95 km/h in areas where the limit was 50 or 60, and he got into arguments with other drivers, ending in a road rage incident with another motorist.
