An incredible place to stay and I provide my review from a family perspective. ||Unfortunately we arrived quite late so we had to check ourselves in. Quite simple although it would have been great to have someone assist with bags and just walk us through how things ran. Nevertheless we settled in fast!||The location is nothing short of just perfect. Our villa 3 had direct access to the pool as well as a clear view over the ocean - just spectacular! It has two bedrooms, 1 shower, a lounge room and kitchen, a covered verandah with coffee table and chairs as well as a sun lounge and towel rack for wet towels and swimming costumes. The villas are impeccably kept and housekeeping does a great job daily. Bath and beach Towels are replaced every three days. ||As you walk 5 steps out to the pool, to the left, is the Lowana which is the very large and beautiful common lounge, dining, full kitchen area for communal use. You can use this when you like, being mindful of your neighbours in villas 1 and 2 in terms of noise (as there are only 3 villas). The whole set up is just incredible and the architectural design of the entire resort is perfect: cantilevered awnings, all round solid timber louvres to allow cross room sea breezes to flow, vault ceilings, air conditioning in bedrooms only, truly an amazing design by the architect! ||Kayaks, paddles, SUPs, life vests, rock shoes, floaties, aeroguard, board games, books, all kitchen utensils, crockery, pots, pans, fridge, oven, stove, dish washer, candles, tea, coffee and a cupboard of most essentials such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, condiments all provided. It’s so very well equipped to encourage you to stay and chill out without having to go out (although you do need to buy your own food and bring that in or arrange for that to be done online and delivered before you arrive). ||Of course there are the usual pacific creatures ie, small geckos and the usual flies and mosquitos but with your own creams etc you should be fine. ||The beach is simply a few steps away from the Lowana which is crystal blue waters with an array of underwater sea life - you do not need to go away from the resort on day trips to get this as it’s right at your door steps. In fact many day trippers arrive twice daily just in front of the resort to swim and snorkel! ||Best you get your food before arriving although you can get William who is the driver associated with the villa to do pick ups and drops offs. Town isn’t far, approximately 10 minutes, but to be honest you couldn’t walk because of the heat mainly and there are a few hills. As the resort is located in a secure gated community the normal buses and taxis cannot enter so William is your best point of contact and if he’s not available he’ll organise someone else to pick you up. We asked both drivers we had to wait as we did our shopping which was very helpful indeed!!||Virginia, Rosie and Anna look after you so well and assist with any questions - great service - thank you so much!||We had an incredibly and unbelievably relaxing time with our kids. This is an amazing resort to stay at - you won’t be disappointed. You will be blown away at how amazing this spot is and how beautiful Mother Nature is!!!||I am sure you will gather from my review that we will...
Read moreParadisical location with stunning views over a reef, the gentle breaking of waves, the sunsets, the infinity pool overlooking all this, the song birds each morning, the beautifully tended gardens and excellent facilities maintained daily by friendly and diligent staff - what's not to like? ||||We spent a week here (2 adults and one teenager) and didn't want to leave. We were in villa 3 (the one that is closest to the pool. The views are stunning. Nice breezes through the louvred insect-screened windows and also ceiling fans, so we didn't use the A/C much except while packing/unpacking to soothe the nerves!||||The reef is pretty great for SUP and kayak. The water is crystal clear. The coral is making a come-back from previous years of crown of thorns starfish attacks, and there are lots of colourful fish to see. Suggest bringing your own snorkeling gear to Vanuatu WITH REEF SHOES as it will enhance your experience.||||The outdoor kitchen is a great place to cook dinner - which is something you will want to do since Vanuatu is quite expensive to dine out in. There are a couple of supermarkets a short drive away.||||Good wi-fi here too. Water good for drinking.||||It's best to hire a car and avoid the cruise ship arrival and departure times as getting past the cruise-ship/ferry terminal is a real adventure. ||||Great holiday - even our teenager...
Read moreWhile we’re not world travelers, we’ve traveled enough to recognise excellence when we see it. What was so good about this holiday?|• Vanuatu is a magic place with the friendliest and most helpful people we’ve encountered.|• Port Vila is gritty and welcoming. It is not a spruced up, fake tourist destination.|• We spent 8 days at Villa 25. Having read so many extremely positive reviews we were worried the 'hype' would exceed the reality – but it was actually better than we expected!|• Dive boats with snorkelers would regularly visit to view the amazing coral and fish straight out in front of our Villa.|• We were provided with kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkeling gear to make use of our magnificent waterfront location.|• We had all 3 of the villas, so were the only guests using the pool and luana/outdoor living area. |• Virginia was unbelievable in her attention to detail and prompt, professional approach.|• Villa staff such as Rosie & Anna looked after us each day.|• We really enjoyed the bus service (and airport transfers) provided by William and his crew. ||I could go on and on, but this should give you an insight to convince you to check out this friendly country and the benefits of contacting Virginia to explore what Villa 25...
