We stayed for a week in this great hotel. The room size was perfect for our crew (5 pax), good taste in the decoration, great housekeeping and incredible attention from the concierge Maria Eugenia and the breakfast crew. You have to be aware that their policy is "feel yourself like home" so they are not over you, actually you sometimes thing like you are in your own house alone. You can use their kitchen, we actually had a great barbecue using their barbecue grill place which is nice and next to the pool. The breakfast is great (from 8 am to 10 am) and they didn't repeat the menu in the 7 days we stayed there and if you were in the mud of having an omelette or scramble eggs you just have to ask for it to the breakfast crew. Don't let the rocky street that takes you to the hotel full you, the place is great. They help you getting taxis, they have a tour operator guy that visit the hotel regularly in the case you want to take some of those great tours like the one to swim with dolphins, full day to Cubagua or Coche, La Restinga, etc. (and their prices are very reasonable). The swimming pool is small to medium but nice and its true that some tiles are gone (but com'on that happens everywhere). Please take note that the swimming pool is open until 6pm for minors. Is very nice that they have a mini refrigerator with beers and water that you can take if you need to refresh yourself and you will pay for that at a reasonable price during the checkout. We hate bullfighting and they assigned to us a room with that theme but -PLEASE COM'ON- I will never mesure this wonderful hotel by the pictures they hang in their walls. The only complain that I have was that one of the two A/C in our room was too noisy and even-though they checked and rechecked, nothing changed, they need to fix that, but we decided to use only one a/c and problem solved. El Yaque is a place that make you feel safe all the time, we walked at night from the beach to the hotel and never had any sort of security concerns. You can also use their parking lot in the case you go with your own car or decide to rent one. ...

Rooms are well air conditioned, hot showers, comfortable and spacious. Books and personalized decor make us feel at home instead of just another cookie cutter hotel room. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and truly not at all far.||Breakfasts are delightful and simply the best there could be. And SO MUCH FOOD you won’t have to worry about having much more during day, with the exception of some delicious fresh oysters or cocadas on the beach.||Stefan, Anita, Greta, and the team made me feel so welcomed! They also became a part of my extended travel family. I was traveling solo, and I never felt alone whenever I wanted to have their company. I simply cannot wait for the day that I visit again. Thanks for the amazing memories, my Isla...
