This hostel has spectacular views. The hosts are very welcoming, and the communal meals—dinner at 19:00 and breakfast at your chosen time—are a great way to meet other guests. Opting for an AC room is a must; it’s a worthwhile upgrade for extra comfort. There’s plenty of space to relax upstairs. The beds, like in many places in Vietnam, are on the firmer side. Communication is mostly in basic English, so a little patience may be required.
A highlight of my stay was hiring the local guide, Tươi (contactable at +84 34 559 0576). He’s exceptionally accommodating and can organize a range of activities tailored to your interests. We enjoyed three days packed with hiking, biking, kayaking, and a boat tour on the lake.
