My charity group got plan at Thanh Phu - Ben Tre. And fine perfect homestay at Nhon Thach to enjoy local life mekong delta. We sleep in traditional house with night rainy night. Hear wind and rain out my window. We had lunch time, dinner and breakfast with natural around the garden. Chili, coconut, fruit.
Wake up early, bike bicycle small road, bird singing , fresh air. Or can explore local life by boat, drink coconut and harvest fruit in farm.

Read moreNhon Thanh homestay is a wonderful place... among the Mekong canals and water cuconts trees you will find this lovely welcoming family who's coke and host you in their home. a bit far from the city, you can walk around those quiet smalls streets, relax and just get lost with all the flowers.a lot of things to do around like visit the cuconts candy factory or having a boat trip in the canals with moi (the family chif) and han (his daughter). take a look in the country side of the Mekong delta and don't skip on this place. Great for couple of nights of chilling and travelling around. the breakfast is included and the lunch + dinner are very cheap...
Read moreBooked in for 2 nights, ending up staying an extra day. A basic homestay, with very friendly owners who made you feel right at home. The location was great located in Nhon Thanh Village. Free use of the bicycle enabled me to explore the surrounding countryside with lovely rides on narrow country paths through tropical fruit paradise. About 5 kms from Ben Tre city so easy to ride in there and check out the market, supermarket or enjoy a typical Mekong delta town. Lots of lovely walking paths also and the local people very friendly. Not alot of English spoken in the area but to me that is ok I can speak Viet but shouldnt be a big problem...
