Their cheapest room is 450k. But well, I guess the swimming pool somehow justifies it. Personally, I was happy to swim for the first time in a long while. As to the other aspects, I'm rating them 2 out of 5, if not 1 out of 5. Shortly after I lay in bed, I felt very small creatures crawling all over me, from the soles to the neck. I got up, showered with hot water (as hot as it could be), then lay in the other bed. (Luckily, even their smallest room has two beds.) In the other bed I didn't have any such feelings at all. For your information, the infested bed is the large bed in room 205. Anyway, this whole story took about an hour of my sleep, from realizing the problem to resorting to showering and changing beds. As if this wasn't enough, the other major problem at this hotel is the poor soundproofing. I could hear the TV of the guest next door very well. I wish I could have gone to bed already, but they only switched off their TV at 11.30 p.m. Didn't expect such poor soundproofing at such an expensive hotel. And, as if my sleep hadn't already been disturbed enough, I got woken up at 5.20 a.m. by the rubbish collection truck. And then, the TV in the room next door was already on. As hard as I tried to continue sleeping, I couldn't, because starting from 6 a.m. people have breakfast by the pool, talking loudly. The fridge wasn't cool at all. And I didn't see a way to adjust it. It only got cool by the morning. There was dust on the TV, on the shelves, on the wardrobe, on the top of the headboards of the beds and on the top of the mirror (see the pictures attached). Somehow, they cleaning procedure doesn't include wiping off the dust... The wardrobe smelled bad inside, I didn't dare put my clothes there. The Wi-Fi password was never given to me: neither by the receptionist, nor by any visible sign. Luckily, I managed to get it from a fellow guest. Even though the negative aspects clearly outbalance the positives, in order to be fair, let me mention that the desk was very convenient for working on the laptop. The sockets were conveniently positioned: two by the desk, two by the sheft and one more, low enough, on the wall. In the bathroom there were refillable dispensers with soap, shower gel and shampoo - very good for reducing plastic pollution. The AC also worked well. And there was a drinking water dispenser...
Read moreWe stayed at the newer hotel across the street and were automatically given the best rooms. Very clean! 5th floor with such a beautiful view. ||Be careful with plugging in too many things into one room because there’s a possibility of the power going out. Not because of the hotel but that’s just how the electricity works in Vietnam, no matter the hotel you stay in. Other than that, this hotel has way better electricity than my stay in Nha Trang.||The workers are so so nice and generous. Such a great place for the price, which offers amazing WiFi, great TVs, swimming pool and breakfast. Breakfast can be pho or eggs and Banh Mi. Also you can ask for coffee and they always bring you tea. ||The rooms were so clean and the refrigerators offer many good cold drinks. The AC works great!||The bathrooms vary, the drains for showering can be slow. But still very clean bathrooms.||But overall it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam. The hotels in Nha Trang, Ninh Hoa, Da Lat cannot compare to this hotel in Cam Rahn.||This hotel is close to everything in Cam Rahn too, which is...
Read moreI am sad to say we had a terrible stay. The rooms themselves were nice, although our air conditioner didn't work. There was very limited places to eat nearby, unless you are happy with the odd street food cart that is around. The staff and surrounding businesses didn't really speak English, only a few words. This made it really difficult. The worst part for us was the fact that the pool didn't close, so a group of about 20 Chinese people turned up and were in the pool at midnight. |The breakfast was really bad for us. Bread roll with no butter. No juice, egg and an egg only omelette! No milk for coffee. |I tried to change my flight the next morning and the front desk didn't know how to call Vietnam Airlines. I would expect a hotel to be able to pick up the phone and dial the airline, eventually...
