Minh Chau Pearl Hotel & Spa - Quan Lan Island — Hotel in Canh Cuoc Island

Ming Chau Pearl is located on a remote island difficult and expensive to get to. But the blogs say the beach is beautiful and it is.||However the hotel is a shell. It has no lobby furniture,no bar, no restaurant. No guests. Only one functional room where they put me. But the room was tiny, dirty, with no hot water.||It is not on the beach. It looks onto a trash pile.||I paid a very high price by Vietnam standardsto AGODA.COM up front so lost my money because I couldn't stay there.||They were mean and told me to find another hotel. But there are NO open hotels anywhere. Also no way to get off the island in the evening when I arrived.||I am going my 60s. Had to literally sleep on the beach in the cold and drizzle. This place is the highlight of our trip to Quan Lan. As a hotel goes, this hotel is one of the best on the island. Note that there are a few Minh Chau hotels but they don't belong to the same owner. The thing that is a misrepresentation is the pool as boasted on the hotel website actually didn't exist (the pool was part of the reason why we booked). Stayed here with my friends during our trips here. The hotel is super clean, new and service is great. The beautiful clean beach is just a few minutes walk from the hotel which makes it so easy and relaxing. The vegetarian restaurant in the hotel serves tasty and healthy food.
