Accommodation situated within a small village surrounded by mountains, Mr Kim's Homestay is a very unique experience living in a rural environment with minoroty group. The villagers are hard working and very friendly. Waking up early in the morning and working into late hours of the night. The food served here is a combination of simple local home dishes as well as a slightly more westernised breakfast. The views during dawn and sunset is unforgettable. Accommodation is relatively clean (as we stayed in a newly built cabin) and the beds contains the use of mosquito nets. There were still small insects inside and within the bathroom as well. Highly recommend an insect repellent. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this accommodation for the...

We stayed at Mr. Kim’s Homestay while doing the Cao Bang Loop, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the trip. The hospitality was incredible — warm, welcoming, and full of heart.

The homestay is tucked away in the beautiful incense village, where you can wander through and watch incense being made just like it has been for centuries. Even though our host didn’t speak English, her contagious laughter and kind energy made us feel right at home. She went out of her way to help us, and her cooking? Absolutely delicious.

We loved every moment of our stay here and would 100% recommend it to anyone doing the loop! Thank you for...

Highly recommend you to stay here! This familyrun Homestay in the middle of a small village will give you a perfect stay. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, food was soo delicious (I eat vegetarian and was so happy with all the different vegetables they served, my boyfriend liked the meat as well) and the village is so interesting to walk through. We had a tough time leaving after two nights, would've loved to stay longer. Checkin and checkout times were very flexible and they even sent me clothes I had forgotten with the next bus. So much love for...

I had 2 nights in Mr Kim homestay, warm welcome by Mr Kim and his family. They have good shower and toilet, the dorm room is perfect for me. After long day bike trip, me and my friends walked around village, climb to the Phia Thap peak and feel the beautiful view here. Then we back to homestay, taken shower and drank coca in the front yard, my friends drank beers and feel peaceful space of the village... Then, dinner, beautiful food, fresh and tastes delicious I high recommend this place when you visit Cao Bang !!
