We had a warm welcome to this guesthouse which provided a much needed coffee on arrival after a morning of driving. We stopped here for the night so we could visit the Vinh Hoc Tunnels which were about an hour north along a beautiful scenic coastal road. When we got back in the evening we were offered dinner for 30/40k for which we were presented with more food than we could finish! The family will make sure you have everything you need to make yourselves feel at home, and the young boys, Phuc and Bin, ensure there are no language barriers with their fluent English! There is no breakfast provided but we asked the evening before if they could prepare something for us, so we paid around another 30k for noddles / fruit. But the room was completely damp. All of our belongings got damp over the 2 nights we spend there. Even with the fan on it didn’t help. The floor was wet with condensation and it became very slippery.
Also there was no duvet cover which is too weird for a hotel. The wetness made everything smell musty
The staff were nice and called us a taxi. But actually grab does work in this area.
Even for the price I would not stay there again if I...
