As me and my small pet dog are travelling around Vietnam on my motorbike, I have had the good fortune of staying at this hotel two times (pet friendly with no extra fee). The first time was due to an emergency as one of the "fancy" hotels refused to allow me to stay with my dog (the pompous Robin Hotel!). I had to seek alternative accommodation at the last minute....I came across Hotel Hoa Yen. The second time visiting Gia Nghia I didn't hesitate in staying here for the second time as I enjoyed it so much the first time. This hotel boasts an overall good quality and offers great, cheap rates in comparison for what you pay for....and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I've stayed in both a basic room and a superior room which are both furnished fairly similar. Both styles of room provide a private and functional bathroom, air-conditioning, flatscreen TV (only Vietnamese channels or YouTube TV), a wall mounted fan, a small fridge, a balcony, a wooden dressing table, a wooden padded chair, a small wardrobe, and a comfortable, medium-firm double bed (not rock hard). The standard pilllows are a bit weird with contoured sections (which i found to be uncomfortable), but normal pillpws are available upon request. The only difference is the size of the room and that the better room has a balcony overlooking the main road. The property boasts a car park outside and a small underground parking area for motorbikes. The underground parking is serviced by an elevator, which also services all the floors too. Located within a short 5-10 minute walk from the hotel are several local restaurants and cafes, pharmacies, and a Bach Hoa Xanh supermarket. (Note, that reception sells a small range of cold drinks.) There is also the town's major chua (temple) opposite the supermarket. The hotel is suited for both overnight accommodation and longer stays. (The first time I stayed just over a week, and the second time for 5 days.) The reception area also doubles as a carved wooden furniture and ornaments shop....so there is some interesting carvings to see. My images uploaded are of the...

I stayed at Hoa Yen Hotel for just one night, but it was such a memorable experience! The hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms that made me feel right at home. The bed was perfect for a restful night after a day of exploring Dak Nong.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The check-in process was smooth, and they even provided helpful tips for local attractions.
The location is super convenient, with easy access to the surrounding sights and local eateries. Despite the short stay, the attention to detail and warm hospitality left a lasting impression.
If you’re passing through Dak Nong and need a cozy, reliable place to stay, I highly recommend Hoa Yen Hotel. I wish I could’ve stayed longer, but I’ll definitely return next time I’m...
Read moreWe were staying in the 3-bed room which was very spacious and full of natural light. However, when we first entered, the room was absolutely stinky due to some malfunctioning in the sewage. It was quite obvious that the room was not checked by the staff prior to our arrival (the smell was severely overbearing). In the end we managed to fix the smell issue by letting the air out and doing some quick fixes to the sewage. The owners greeted us and answered many of our questions. They were friendly and helpful, which compensated for the slightly disappointing experience with the room. Still, we were happy with the overall condition of the room, especially...
