One of the best home stays we stayed in on the loop. Family dinner is more or less bottomless for only 10 dollars. They were celebrating their 1 year anniversary with a huge banquet, hotpots with endless shrimp, tofu, noodles, beef, chicken, and dont even start on the happy water. Shots being poured for you every 3 minutes, all the locals want to have a shot with you personally. Locals have great english too. One of their guide Ming was an absolute king. Very helpful, great fun, a good man to drink a few shots, multilingual, great interest in people and where they're from. Fantastic atmosphere at the dinner table and in the open area afterwards, very conducive to making friends, having great conversation and hitting the vietnamese version in a bong. Beds were adequate, private rooms available too. A few roosters knocking about that were crowing from about 4am to 9am, very annoying but what can you do. I would stay here again for Ming and all his charm, everything else is a bonus. Stay here if you want a hearty feed but if you're a light sleeper then the cocks might...
