The Motel is in Lang Cac, a small village about 30‘ from Du Gia.||This place is good enough for one night on the Ha-Giang-Loop and is fairly priced! And to our opinion it is a better alternative to stay the night at Lung-Ho Motel instead of going to the very crowded and loud place Du Gia, where usually all Loop-Riders spend, the night before returning back to Ha-Giang (and btw. you must pass by again here on the way back to Ha-Giang). ||We met the owner Hang. She is such a nice person and offered us to join for dinner with her family at the motel. It was a simple nice local Vietnamese dish (complementary) and even though a conversation in English is not easy, google translator helps and we had a nice evening. ||Her father-in-law is helping her and is always around. With google-translator we could exchange and got all we needed. He is such a nice elderly person i.e. before bed-time he took me on a walk in the street which seems to be a tradition, and we meet different other people from the village (really cool!)||We had a standard 2-bed room on 2nd floor, spacious, simply furnished with a standard hard mattress😉||This place is really quiet, we slept till 8 o’clock - longer than expected ||We had hot shower and toilet on the room. ||In addition Hang, she is teacher of the primary school of the village. She was so nice and invited us to stop by the school meeting her and her class. We had such great fun with the little students. A just amazing experience. ||Thank you Hang for hosting us - we won’t forget you and please say hello to your „gang“ 😘||As a feedback for Hang; I’d ask the cleaning personal to take attention and giving more effort in the cleaning - your guests will...
Read moreMe and my friend spent a night in Motel Lung Ho as our first night stop on our Ha Giang loop. The place was much better than any other places we have checked and we would highly recommend it for people who want to have a good night sleep without bugs and mosquitos. The room was clean, and spacious. We had a nice dinner with the family where they served their local booze and nice tee. We got closer to the Vietnamese culture while talking with them. The family was very nice and open, their shared a lot of personal stories, we communicated through google translate which was also quite a good experience. All in all, we could simply recomend the place for everyone! It was a...
Read moreThis was the best place I stayed in Vietnam. The owners were extremely welcoming, the rooms were comfy and the family dinner was the best food that I had in the whole of Vietnam. ||||They cooked a real feast for us and then we had dinner downstairs with the family and other guests, complete with plenty of ‘happy water’, aka rice wine, in a nice sociable atmosphere.||||They also have karaoke booths which were a lot of fun!||||The nearby area is also stunning - well worth slightly extending your Ha Giang loop if you are travelling round by bike.||||Incredible value for money - I would have been willing to pay many times what we did for what we got. Really...
