OG Home's (hostel & tour ) — Hotel in Hà Giang

I don’t usually write reviews, and honestly, part of me wanted to keep this experience a secret – that’s how amazing it was. But it deserves to be shared !!

We did the loop in Vietnam with a small group of friends, and it turned out to be one of the best trips I’ve ever had. What really made the difference was our guide, Minh. He wasn’t just showing us around – he lives the region. He knows every corner, every hidden gem, and he made us feel like locals. His energy, passion, and care made the whole experience unforgettable.

We ate so well (seriously, the food was insane), we partied, laughed, and shared moments I’ll never forget. The vibe was just perfect – a mix of adventure, fun, and real connection.

Now that I’m back home, I’m writing this with a bit of nostalgia, but mostly with a lot of support for Minh and what he’s created. If you’re even thinking about doing the loop – do it. You...

We stayed here for the Ha Giang loop and we can’t find enough words to describe it. The place is so peaceful and charming with some small lakes and a stream nearby the rooms. Rooms are so comfy and well equiped with fan, aircon and thick blankets. Bathrooms are good with hot showers too. Also the whole place is so clean and tidy. On top of that, the host is the best guide I ever had. He is very nice and friendly and eager to show you the best spots in the loop. He took us to a traditional restaurant where there were only Vietnamese people and I ate food I never tried anywhere else in Vietnam. The last night he was kind enough and offered to organizar a dinner at his place with fresh food from the local market. 100% highly recommend booking your Ha Giang loop tour with OG Homies! Minh helped handle the logistics of our bus to Ha Giang and our stay before and after the loop was included at the OG Homestay, minimal rooms but they definitely did the job! Minhs mom cooked us dinner the days outside of the loop which was sooo delicious. We had a small group of the four of us who were all traveling together and we went back and forth about if we wanted a big group or not but ultimately we wouldn’t have wanted to do the loop with anyone else!! The small group was perfect we got to stay at stops for as long as we wanted and visit a lot of areas that the big groups definitely wouldn’t be able to see!
