Hoa Nam Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

This hotel should be closed down!!! On our first night our room got flooded with toilet water, and all of our toiletries, and make up bags which were at the bathroom counter got ruined because of the water!!.. one of our phones even got ruined because there were water inside the electrical outlet….. there were even cockroaches and lizards running around… when we told the hotel staff and showed them our wet bags and ruined toiletries and the photos of the insects they blamed us!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I have N E V E R experiences such an unprofessional and rude staff!!! It took us 1 -1/2 hours of discussing before they moved us to another room…. But that room was just as bad!!!!! |Eventually when we checked out they refused to pay for our ruined products and phone!!! |This hotel does not even deserve one star……. |WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS...

Receptions speaks English poorly, housekeeper put towels with yellow spots almost everyday, I was there for 6 nights. This hotel located in a very small town, the nearest tourist attraction just the perfume pagoda. Restaurant cook nice meals, but also restaurant staff mostly speak very poor English. On the first night, I found some dirty spot on the toilet. The hotel also provide amenities, but I found an expired soap (it was expired on March 2016) and when I complained, and the other day they put again the same soap, but they scratched the expired date, so it was the same, expired soap for one year. Also the second night the housekeeper put dirty and stink tissue paper in my bathroom. I won't return...

We made reservations by AGODA. Place was OK and there was not any problem in the winter as room air conditioning has heating. I realize hot water tank would be 50L for room. Hot water shower was not enough for us unfortunately. We made reservations with breakfast. But front people mentioned not available that means nothing. Take a walk they have bakery and supermarket these opened from 7:00 that was helpful. Gas station ⛽️ also very close from here.

Does anyone of US citizen stay this hotel, just advise hotel people about up & down flag 🇺🇸 direction was wrong and reversed.

I recommend this side room as quite. Road side could be noisy by big trucks.
