This hotel is located relatively close to the airport on the outskirts of Hanoi. The exterior is Western-style, but the interior is not. All the rooms in this hotel are the same size, but the price can vary by up to three times depending on the view and interior. This time, I stayed in the most reasonable room as a test. The room had no windows, so it was humid and the air conditioning didn't work very well. There were a lot of flying insects around the bathroom, so it took a while to get rid of them. There was also no refrigerator, coffee cups, hair dryer, tissues, etc., which are found in normal hotels. Although a light breakfast was supposed to be included, there was no explanation, and when I checked out early in the morning, there was nothing. I booked this accommodation due to its convenient location near the airport. Unfortunately, the room I was given was a smoking room, which was not mentioned during the booking process. On a positive note, the receptionist was very polite and courteous. Since it unexpectedly turned out to be a smoking room, the smell was, of course, terrible. I arrived covered in mud from the long motorcycle journey in the wet and I was still warmly welcomed. Receptionist was first class- very helpful. I loved the half roast chicken for dinner - even if they could not believe it was for just one person. Towels were damp in room but had just been laundered by the good smell. View of lake includes a burial ground but it’s pretty and did not disturb my sleep!!! Laundry service excellent and cheap. Good place to stay before a flight out. They will arrange a cheap taxi. It’s not far to HAN....
