I want to thank the Melia hotel and its stuff for our wonderful stay. We stayed in the hotel for 10 days in October which is considered off-season; the hotel is extremely clean, the territory is beautiful and neatly kept, you will get the experience that is advertised. The food is extremely tasty: they serve pho-bo and other soups for breakfast, wide variety of dumplings, yoghurts, fruits, scrambled eggs/omlettes and other variation of eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, pastry and delicious coffee. Depending on the day there were a-la-carte breakfast or buffet. The hotel offers a free in-room service, when they bring your lunch/dinner to your villa. The meals were absolutely delicious, they also serve local Vietnamese specialties, seafood, meat, steaks, vegetables and plenty of rice. They also have pizza and pasta if you prefer smth simple. The hotel also gifted us a whole cake in the last day of our stay, it was so nice.||Hotel has wonderful spa, with 20% discounts for all massages and spa if you have booked directly with the hotel. Recommend their massages!||As it was off-season, there were 4 days of storm, the sea was not swimmable during these days, but it was our first experience in Vietnam and Asia, so we still enjoyed it. The hotel has a nearby water park and an observation-wheel which were closed due to off-season.||There were almost no people in the hotel, it was a wonderful, quiet time-off, there were hardly any people near the big swimming pool, but we swam there every day or in our villa-small-swimming pool.|All swimming pools are 1.26 m, they are not deep. The sea is also not deep at all, up to my chest.||There are no excursions or tourist booths in the hotel, but the receptionist lady arranged a taxi to the shopping mall Vincom plaza for us, we bought a lot of wonderful dresses in the local shop on the first floor (do not remember the name of the shop, but the first letter was P), wool pieces are quite cheap to buy there, as it is not in demand, I assume. Also there is a National Park in 2 hour-drive from the hotel which we...
Read moreThis resort doesn’t deserve 5-star because there is no gym. Also when I requested the yoga mat so that I could exercise in the villa, they couldn’t provide one as they didn’t have any. Secondly, they have the most restrictive regulation regarding brining food from outside. Regardless of the type of food and how clean you return the villa, they will charge 40 USD every time they “find out” (that you bring food). Even though the villa has an electric stove, you can’t use it. So basically you are forced to have the resort food as within the 5 km radius there’s no other proper restaurant. (We just stayed here over Tet 2023 so this review is up to date as of...
Read moreThe rooms are great, very well designed and comfortable. The service is just as good, staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are electric cars to get around the resort as it is quite big so that's very convenient. The location is excellent, almost directly in front of a very nice beach. The beach itself is clean, beautiful and not too crowded. It also has a waterpark right next to it which is very convenient. There isn't really any store selling snacks or ice cream or essential items so keep...
