Halong Hidden Charm Hotel — Hotel in Hạ Long City

As the title says, I stayed there along with my immediate family and two other brothers at Halong Hidden Charm last year in 2011. I have to say, it was the first time in my life where we were the only people/customers to have even booked at that place, nobody else was there. So it was even more strange that we had breakfast and dinner there all by ourselves, it even felt a little unfair that the waitress and cook were working just to serve us. Or maybe, because it was so far away form most other places, resorts and entertainment districts that other people probably chose other hotels!? I don't know. The upside to that is we could all get some quality sleep compared to staying at Hanoi. Anyway the hotel was great, nice layout with views looking at the waters, stairways or elevators are available, the room me and my two brother's were in was huge, with two beds. The showers are great too, just the window not being fully covered was a little creepy. Restaurant was nice too, but the atmosphere was very uneventful for a Xmas day. I am sure if it was during peak season, this hotel would be great and would recommend it for anyone else...

We were unexpectedly checked in to this hotel when our cruise was cancelled due to poor weather. This place has great potential with great views. That is all it has going for it. The place is very dark and we had to change rooms as the heating did not work.We were still so cold we slept in all our clothes. The food was terrible- cold and poor quality and although they claimed to have a bar they had no wine, serving only beer and there were no nearby options. Western breakfast offered was only french toast and what arrived was plain bread with 2 fried eggs, cucumber, marmalade and cold butter. Restaurant was cold.||||So, advice to stay on boat and check weather before taking the 4 hour bus trip from Hanoi to avoid getting stuck in this very...

This is the first time I have been to Vietnam, and Halong Bay is one of place that I want to visit. I have to admit that I have had a great time there. The Halong bay is very beautiful, and the hotel that I stayed in is excellent. Its name is Halong Hidden Charm. This hotel has a excellent view with all of the rooms look out onto the sea, and it is very clean and modern. The staffs are very friendly and are always ready to help whatever you need with respect. In addition, the food is very delicious with a lot kinds of food. Furthermore, the price is very cheap campared with other hotels in the same class. So if you visit Halong bay, you should choose Halong Hidden Charm...
