Dream Dragon Resort — Hotel in Hải Phòng

Overall it was fine. Busy national holiday weekend will always be hectic. Check in was a bit slow to get both rooms and early check in as promised didn't really happen so we had to hang out in the kids centre. As a result our toddlers missed their nap time.

Positives. Food is good. Breakfast buffet very good even though it's busy. Rooms really nice. Loved the bath with non slip mat. Meant our children could bath too. English ability of most staff are very good and generally the customer service was good. Non Viet coffee is very tasty, very!, and they do take away options which is great. Check out pretty quick and thoughtful, I forgot stuff and they spotted this and brought it down. Room TV can connect to your phone YouTube which was very useful for kids TV.

Negatives. Check in was hectic and disorganised. Beach wasn't quite what we hoped, an artifical lagoon, sand was very compacted and hard for kids to dig in, beach furniture rotted and broken, apparently no beach f&b service. Swimming pool looked amazing but appeared to lack water which was odd, seemed it needed about an extra metre of water. Giant generators or AC cooling stacks outside the room on ground level were noisy all night. No beach side changing rooms, only ones behind the pool, no bench or seat in changing rooms to sit on, couldn't see beach towels too use after shower and no shower gel.

There aren't many options for full service resorts in Do Son Hai Phong area so this is a good option especially with kids though not...

We checked in on Friday afternoon. Check in time is 3PM but we only could get enough 6 rooms on 4:30PM. It made my family were tired, upset and got angry. Not only my family but also many many people got the same problem in checking in issue. = This proved cleaning department was too weak, not enough workforce or maybe bad quality.

The room inside quality was quite good, facilities were comfortable (small note : cotton pads were too rough, should be changed).

The breakfast buffet quality was quite good, variety of food and taste good.

Big swimming pool, clean water with low clo, good security system and quite professional. The artificial beach was not clean as the photos in the website and from the advertisement but can be acceptable with rowing service.

Thuy Tinh waterpark is quite okay and our children loved it with many games, clean water. Fried chicken here is also okay.
