Monkey Island Beach — Hotel in Hải Phòng

I enjoyed my time in the resort, although it was the most expensive hotel during the whole trip you need to be aware you are paying mostly for the location. Rooms are ok, basic, not very luxurious but you are in a remote island. We didn’t see any monkey in the resort but we heard that monkeys were brought to the island by the owner of the island. Therefore they are not in their original habitat and they can be quite aggressive. There is a free boat service from the harbour, just go to the shop/bar in the harbour where you can see a postee of monkey island resort and they will call the resort for you to arrange your pick up. We had lots of water bottles in our room and we found out the last day when we paid that you have to pay for them. Also if you eat in the restaurant they take note of your room and you pay everything when you check out. We found out that somebody had added their meals to our bill. Once we mentioned the soon they got rid of those meals for our invoice, but I think they need to make sure people sign a bill after each meal writing their room number. Beautiful sunset from the...
