Le Pont Mu Waterfall — Hotel in Hoà Bình province

We stayed 3 nights and that was perfect. We really loved this place and people, Probably the best place we stayed in vietnam. We and our two teenagers loved the services and the welcoming hosts, annie's advices, the place just next the river where you can swim and play, the natural swimming pool (water of the river), the breakfast and familiy food (there is a menu also but you can ask for vietnamiese food), the excursions and the nearby waterfalls. The surrounding is true, wild and authentic (thai and muong houses), real countryside, beautiful mountains roads. A good place if you like nature and want to discover small villages and landscapes by foot or motorbikes. Rooms and beds are basics but nice and confortable (mosquito nets, shower with hot water, climatisation), all have terrasse and nearby river and swimming pool, but yes there can be some little ants in your bag in the morning and they change the water of the swimming pool regularly (it can be empty for one day) :-). It's just a piece of paradise! I could call this place "living nature"-it's so beautifully integrated with its surroundings. We even had a small waterfall right in front of our balcony. The atmosphere was incredibly quiet and relaxing. The room was spacious and had mosquito nets. The beds are hard, but it's normal in Vietnam. 😊

A huge highlight of our stay was Thuy, the wonderful woman who attended to us. She is gentle, attentive, and an AMAZING cook! She prepares all the meals with so much love, and everything was absolutely delicious. Truly a fantastic hostess. 😍

It was absolutely worth the detour on our way from Ninh Binh to Mai Chau. The guesthouse is located in a small village, giving us a unique opportunity to experience local life, which made our stay even more special.

We also felt so lucky to have the entire place to ourselves during our stay. We spent 3 nights here. On the day we were leaving, a group of 35 people arrived-perfect timing for us!

Very helpful and friendly host. Went out of her way to help with taxi and birthday arrangements for me and friends. Problems with aircon and shower drain got resolved. However, the place is definitely a work in progress and in need of a much needed clean, especially the pool. But the family were making the efforts to get the place ready for next season. Just focus on finishing touches (cleaning) in rooms definitely required Wonderful place to explore nature and great river to swim in. Although not much else nearby, so reliant on...
