Pros: Natural rooms with wooden walls, bamboo ceiling, low bed, nice balcony where you can observe rice fields It’s outside the city, so you have plenty of space to ride bikes and watch local life Very good shower with hot water You can rent bikes for free

Cons: We visited in the rainy season as a result the ceiling was leaking We tripped multiples times and I fell on a slippery side walk. The owner is aware of that, but is still stays without a solution. Very dangerous especially for elderly people and pregnant Although the bikes are free they are not in a good condition, my bike had problems with brakes We had two breakfasts and twice I had small insects inside The karaoke didn’t bother us as a sudden music that was blasting in the morning from the owners house (I assume)...

Location and rooms are very nice and good value for the money. There are nice restaurants nearby and the hotel does have cold beer available. The staff speaks zero English and relies on google translate to communicate with you. Asking for water, coffee or a beer can take a few goes. What I didn’t like about this place is I specifically asked if the dogs outside our room would be quiet in the night and they said yes, but they barked and cried during the night. This was more annoying as the staff were awake at this time and just watching the dogs bark at 5am. The dogs that are chained up aren’t pets (I will let you determine what they were), I don’t want to see and hear them chained up near our rooms. Rooms and atmosphere is nice, service needs work. Would rate 3.5 but this is a...

we stayed a total of 10 days in this beautiful mai chau homestay run by a lovely family who really took best care of us during our entire stay.

we had a lot of meals at the Restaurant including Breakfast (Included), Lunch & Dinner and they all were super delicious.

the lady is a awsome chef who can cook a great variety of meals also they never turned down any special requests.

They offer FREE actual GOOD mountain bikes you can use to get around Mai Chau or have Scoters available for affordable rent.

the views are stunning its a perfect location to Relax and enjoy nature!

we can absolutely recommend staying at La Vida Homestay and will definitely come back next time we are in the...
