The good: Just a 2 hours drive from Hanoi so if you don't want to stay here for a night then you can just go here, the resort is open at 7:30am you can buy a ticket for visit (include free swimming pool both outside and inside - the ticket also include foot bath section) This resort is famous with Onsen Spa so we tried it here and it was pretty relaxing There is only one restaurant here, the foods and drinks are ok.

The bad: Bicycles are too old, need to be fixed the brake, most of the bicycle that I tried here are no brake at all Restaurant is always at full load, your staffs recommend customers to order their lunch in advance but then you made us wait nearly 30 mins to get our lunch ready is totally unacceptable. Serena has been built for quite sometime, your air-con need to be replaced or do a full service ... Onsen area are ways too hot could not relax at all Be aware if your skin is sensitive do not use Onsen (Hotspring bath) ... From place to place you guys made customers wait for really long for transportation (electric car) Playground for kids (in door) all toys...

Its a pretty resort and a nice place to get away from Hanoi for a couple of days and get some fresh air. The staff is friendly, helpful and smile a bunch. Check in was a breeze. The location is incredible with nice views. The rooms are nice. The cost for massages and food and drinks are quite reasonable. But there are some issues. The poolside area doesn't have towels so one has to bring them in from the room. A bit inconvenient. The poolside swim up bar was closed. The air-conditioning in our room was not very good. It was just blowing air. And it stops running randomly. For some reason the resort completely ran out of mangos. This seems like an operational issue. The onsen pools were really unattractive. I expect some mud in the water but didn't expect completely murky water. They should really make it...
