BINIFARM - Tropical Retreat — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

UPDATED. Beware! Please avoid if you have kids or dogs. Their dog came out of nowhere and jumped on my puppy, who was out walking on a leash with me. My puppy was bitten 3 times. (Pictures included) After my puppy was attacked, a staff came and said this is how dogs play. He didn't do anything to hold their dog back and walked away. I picked up my puppy, who was paralyzed on the ground. The dog was still trying to jump up and bite his legs. I had to kick it away in fear I would get bitten. I went back to the tent and checked, I saw that he was bleeding. They did not chain up their dog or offer any assistance, I had to request 2 times, to chain up their aggressive dog so I can safely leave with my puppy and my 2 kids. The dog sleeps in the common washroom/shower area. He aggressively barks and follows everyone who enters why they are not responsible to chain him up, is questionable on their awareness of their own business.

There is a topless man who sleeps and walks around the shower/washroom area. I always walk with my children to the washroom because of him.

Manager is a dishonest man. Attached is a picture of my booking. When we arrive, he said my children are not kids and he will charge them for the adult pricing. He says the age doesn't matter. He counts by their height and weight. My kids are not overweight. He kept pushing for more money til I said I would leave. He finally confirmed the booking for the original amount. Extra 500k/night for air conditioning is a scam, system doesn't work, tent was very hot, we couldn't sleep, there was a dead lizard hanging out of it. How can an air conditioner running 24/7 not be able to cool down a little tent. The unit is extremely loud. Every 30 minutes, something drops within it, making a loud banging noise, shaking up the whole tent. There is no safety box for valuables, anyone can enter your tent.

The morning my puppy was bitten, I asked to leave, and they offered to refund for the 2nd night stay, by bank transfer. If I left, I would never see my money again. I demanded cash as I paid them less than 24 hours before, and I am a foreigner, without a local bank. Our booking included dinner and breakfast plus drinks. We left at around 10:30 am. Before we left, I asked the manager me and my children were starving. We have not eaten or drank since we 7:00am, when my puppy was attacked. He kept saying our car would be here soon, he didn't want to provide any more service to us. He is a very bad and greedy man. He only cares about money.

Very hard to get to. Took our driver a long time to get there. It took them 2 hours to find us a taxi to leave. Be prepared to pay extra for the time the taxi has to use to find to binifarm. We have to ride a scooter to town to catch the taxi. With a hurt puppy, 2 kids and our luggage on 2 scooters were dangerous. No helmet was provided.

Don't be deceived by pictures or fluencers. This place is not like the pictures. There is an ostrich bird that is balding and looks like it needs to be rescued. Our tent is full of bugs, I sanitized all our belongings once we got back to our hotel in fear of fleas and bed bugs.

Updated I was contacted by binifarm only after I posted my review. They offered a refund for the first night stay if I remove my review (picture included) I was offered refund for the second night, I stayed 1 night. It isn't normal to have a topless man living in a shower/washroom area used by women and kids. I find this safety standard disturbing. Staff offered breakfast before my puppy was attacked. On my review, the manager was told we were starving. Air conditioning we got there 3:00pm, spent the evening outside. By night it is like a sauna inside, the sealed tent with 3 people breathing inside. No staff on site at night, We werent informed of any way to contact anyone. I am aware of how an ostrich should look like. It looks like it is in distressed and not in good health with balding spots...

Perfect for your weekend getaway. The farm is only 1 hour drive from the city center. My family was welcomed by a super friendly staff, the place is filled with trees and surrounded by lakes and canals, which naturally provides visitors with fresh air and tranquil atmosphere. I'll definitely come back. If you go there by motorcycle, avoid rainy days as the entrance might get...
