Wow. Where do I even start with this trainwreck of a “hotel”? First of all, nearly 1 million dong per night for what is basically a glorified roadside motel in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing around here unless you count stray dogs and mosquitoes as “attractions.” Our first room’s AC was broken, because of course it was. We had to switch rooms after the first night just to sleep without melting. The “24/7 pool” they brag about? Yeah, it was closed for maintenance but the best part is that the front desk guy had no clue. He just stood there looking confused like it was news to him too. That really says it all about how this place is ran. Then there’s the little bait-and-switch they pulled. We booked a standard room with two double beds (confirmed right on Agoda), but apparently, here, “two beds” means one bed and a shrug. Even after we showed proof, they refused to do anything. Not an upgrade, not a discount, not even a sorry. Just a blank stare and some weak excuses. And get this my brother left a 1-star review (which, honestly, was generous), and ever since then, the front desk guy has been acting like we don’t exist. No greetings, no eye contact, just pure silent treatment. Real mature, considering you’re supposed to be in hospitality. Honestly, for a hotel charging more than some actual 4-star places in major cities, this was a total joke. No service, no professionalism, no clue. Empty hotel, empty promises, and clearly empty brains running it. Maybe if they spent half as much effort fixing their problems as they do ignoring their guests, they’d have better reviews. Until then enjoy your well-deserved 1 star. And that’s...
Read moreWe stayed here for 2 nights as a base to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Having stayed in several hotels during our 3 week tour of south Vietnam, this was by far the worst. It is based down a side road with a few shops and other than a coffee shop next you will struggle to find somewhere decent to eat unless you have your own transport. The room itself is adequate but the bed was like sleeping on the hard floor !! One hard mattress and one hard pillow. I actually woke with pains in my neck and back. There is currently major construction work going on in the hotel which we should have been warned about and we were woken at 7.30 in the morning to the sound of drills and banging. There is no soundproofing in the hotel and half the night you could not sleep due to the noise of the other guests shouting and banging doors. Generally a disappointment and am surprised it has been given...
