Resort Memento — Hotel in Khánh Hòa Province

A Homely Experience at Memento Resort ​Every time we visit Memento Resort for a few days, we feel like we are returning home to our family. This feeling comes from the warm welcome of the young owner, Ý Thơ, her family, and the staff, all of whom we have known for many years. ​The resort's grounds, surrounding the nearly 100-year-old ancestral house, are beautifully maintained and serene. The garden is shaded by a variety of trees like tamarind, jackfruit, mango, and star apple. In front of the bungalows, a row of areca palms stands, while across the path, ornamental banana plants provide a cool canopy. Behind the house, tall coconut trees reach for the sky. ​Along the walkways, beds of ten o'clock flowers burst into bloom in the sun. The herb garden by the house provides fresh ingredients, and at the end of the garden, a swimming pool offers a refreshing escape. As soon as we check in, the children jump into the pool, play a few games of billiards, or go fishing in the pond by the kitchen. ​In the morning or afternoon, guests can borrow bicycles to explore the local morning market, ride through the village, or visit the nearby rice paddies. ​The highlight of the resort is the food. The delicious, rustic dishes, typical of the coastal region of Nha Trang and the Mekong Delta—the owner's hometown—always satisfy even the most discerning diners. The warm hospitality and sincere service of the staff make every meal feel cozy and welcoming. Mỗi khi có dịp ghé Memento Resort nghỉ vài ngày chúng tôi luôn có cảm giác đang trở về nhà với những người thân gia đình về sự tiếp đón nồng ấm của cô chủ nhỏ Ý Thơ cùng đại gia đình và đội ngũ nhân viên mà chúng tôi đã quen biết nhau từ nhiều năm trước. Khuôn viên bao quanh ngôi từ đường cổ kính gần 100 năm tuổi được gia chủ giữ gìn, tôn tạo một cách uy nghiêm là vườn cây rợp bóng mát với đủ các loại từ me, mít, xoài, vú sữa...Trước hiên nhà nghỉ là hàng cau kiểng "mướt quá xanh như ngọc", bên đối diện có hàng chuối kiểng xoè tán lá làm mát rượi cả khu nhà, sau lưng thêm hàng dừa vươn cao vút. Dọc các lối đi những luống hoa Mười giờ chỉ chờ đủ nắng là nở bừng lên, bên hè nhà trồng đủ lại rau gia vị, cuối khu vườn có chiếc hồ bơi càng làm không gian thêm mát dịu nên vừa nhận phòng là các cháu nhỏ nhảy ùm xuống hồ hoặc chơi vài ván bi da hay ngồi câu cá bên chiếc ao trước nhà bếp. Sáng hay chiều khách có thể dùng xe đạp dạo chơi xem buổi họp chợ quê sáng hay quanh làng thăm các ruộng lúa. Đặc sắc nhất nơi đây là các món ăn dân giã đặc trưng miền biển Nha Trang hay miền Tây Nam Bộ vốn dĩ là quê hương của cô chủ nhỏ rất ngon miệng luôn làm hài lòng những thực khách khó tính nhất. Khách cũng sẽ cảm thấy ấm cúng vì sự tiếp đãi ân cần cùng sự phục vụ nhiệt tình, chân chất của đội...

A nice hide away resort which is not prominent but, has it recognition from guests who have found this little peaceful heaven.

It's a cozy and peaceful place for families to visit. Food are ok, views are good enough since it's in middle of the countryside 😁 Sometimes furniture and rooms isn't clean much and dusty. Mosquito is another trouble at night so please prepare needed stuff for this. Locals around are nice and friendly, so it's recommended to go out and enjoy some...
