La Beauté Bắc Hà — Hotel in Lào Cai Province

Our family of 4 just came to Bac ha Saturday night and had a nice dinner and nice room . The owner organized and bought our bus tickets to pho Lu and got us a taxi for there. She also organized for our 2 day 1 night trek with Pang, a local Hmong lady, who we had a wonderful trek with. When we came back to the hotel after the trek where we left our bags they had tea and a foot bath ready for us and allowed us to shower and rest in an extra room before the taxi which she organized for us took is to the train station in pho Lu again. All our meals were very good with many healthy fresh vegetables added. I couldn’t have organized all of these parts without her for such a great trip. We had a wonderful stay in Bac ha at la Beaute. It was a lovely home tucked away in the countryside and everyone who worked there including the owner was so helpful and friendly. She bought our bus tickets for us and arranged a car both ways for a good price and also organized a great trek for 2 days and let us shower and hangout after the trek in the evening. Then we left our phones there by accident and she organized with a Homestay in Hoi an to have them sent by mail there for us and we got them back. Above and beyond for sure. |The area is stunning and from what I have heard about saps a much better experience. We saw some tourists at the market but didn’t see another tourist the whole time on our 2 day hike. Lovely hosts, but place can be improved.

· the hostel is run by lovely girls. they will help you with everything with a smile on their faces. 2 dogs and cat just fill in this family vibe. at the glance, view at the room made me feel ‘wow, what a design!’ , spacious as well. all the traditional decorations and everything made of wood looks fabulous! unfortunately without heating that because a problem soon.

· although I stayed in a dorm, we did not had access to kitchen or shared room . the dorm itself is not heated, their multiple gaps between walls and a roof so it’s getting freezing cold. Surprisingly I discovered one evening that is cooler inside...
