Hoàng An Hotel — Hotel in La Gi Town

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. First they did not have my reservation on file, unfortunately they still had rooms available so my girlfriend and I checked in. We immediately found that the toilet was turned off due to a leak with the bidet, the staff did quickly fix the problem but I wonder why it wasn't fixed before we checked in. We originally chose this hotel because the pictures of the outsiade an garden looked nice, in reality it is pretty much non exisitant. These little things don't warrant a 1 star from me, but what really upset me about this place happened on day 2 and then at check out. On the second day, the drain in the bathroom/shower clogged and ended up completely flooding our room. There was not a dry spot on the ground and I ended up grabbing the two towels provided and pushing the water away from a corner so we could have a place to get dressed. After we were dressed and we put our luggage on the chairs and table we left and let the front desk know about the clogged drain. When we got back later that day the room was mostly dry but the drain was still clogged. Quick short showers until we left. When I checked out, the owner told me she was charging an extra 200k because we used the two towels on the floor to push water and caused her extra laundry. There was a huge language barrier and my Vietnamese girlfriend was running some errands out in town when I checked out. I didn't want to argue so I paid the 200k, but decided to let everyone know that this hotel is not in good shape and their customer service is awful. A mate and I did a 200+km bicycle ride from Vung Tau to Mui Ne and stayed here on the second night. After almost 70km in 38C weather we were very glad to find that the Hoang An Hotel was a very clean and comfortable, family-run hotel. We received a very warm welcome by the owners who despite having an empty kitchen were able to rustle up some food for us. The rooms are new, and big enough. The AC works beautifully and the water pressure in the bathroom was strong. There are several local restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommended if you're swinging...

Hemos encontrado este lugar por casualidad y nos hemos quedado sorprendido de lo bien que esta este hotel.|Es un hotel nuevo abierto de hace dos meses todo muy limpio y el personal del hotel es super majo y atento. Las habitaciones no les falta de nada estan muy bien equipadas aire acondicionado y agua caliente. Un sitio 100% recomendable estamos viajando desde ho chi min a hanoi en moto y recomiendo este lugar como primera parada en el viaje.
