Hopefully by the time you go there the road construction will be finished. We spent almost 2 hours traveling about 20Km and the road was really rough in places. It's apparent the road will be great when finished though. We visited in mid December. Temps were about 8C at night. Huts have no heat, but there are plenty of blankets. Mattresses are on the floor, which I dislike, but I actually slept well. The eating area is open air. Food is basic, but there was plenty of it and it was good. Eating next to the firepit was pretty nice actually. People very friendly and eager to please. Not a lot of English spoken here, but everyone seemed to understand...

Many families there face real hardship. Things we take for granted — warm clothes, hygiene essentials, even shoes for their kids — are sometimes missing.
