They deceive people for money here!!!
I don't understand all the hype about this place. The ticket, which included a mud bath and a pool with a water park, cost 350,000 dong per person. I think this is a considerable amount for Vietnam, and our expectations were accordingly high.
Changing rooms Terribly inconvenient. Too many people, and it's impossible to comfortably fit on the small bench.
Mud bath The mud is clearly diluted with something; I've been to mud baths before and know what the mud should look like. In this resort, it's very watery, giving the feeling that you're just lying in warm water. In Thap Ba, the mud is much better.
Pools All the pools we swam in were very warm. There's also a waterfall with cold water. There's no middle ground: either very warm, almost hot, or cold. The water in the pools is murky, giving the feeling that it's dirty and filtered very rarely. Additionally, the water is salty, and there's an unpleasant feeling of stickiness on the body.
Atmosphere It's impossible to relax; you can't call it a resort. While we were lying in the mud bath, a train passed by, making loud and uncomfortable noises. In the only pleasant pool overlooking the river in the water park, some technical equipment squealed 30 minutes while we were there.
Restaurant Food prices are inflated, and it wasn't tasty. From the bacon burger, we got a piece of pork with a piece of skin. The drinks were good. The bill included a service charge, but I didn't see any warning about it on the menu. It ended up being about 50,000 dong more expensive than we expected.
Water park Here's where it gets interesting. A golf cart goes to the water park every 3-5 minutes. We arrived at the water park. It looks very run-down.
HOW THEY DECEIVE FOR MONEY We arrived at the water park wrapped in towels provided in the changing room. There is no organized place to leave towels. We saw that about 10 towels were hanging on a fence opposite the slides, so we left our two towels there. After 5 minutes, sliding down the slide, we found that neither our towels nor the others that were hanging were there. The staff at the water park don't speak any English; they couldn't tell us who took our towels and where we could find them. We returned to the resort and asked for 2 towels. The changing room attendants refused. I explained the whole situation in English, but the staff here also doesn't understand the language. I had to use a translator to explain what happened. After examining our situation, the attendants started talking, laughed, and told us once again that towels are only provided once, and if we want more, we have to pay!!! How is that possible? Most likely, the water park staff took those towels because I can't imagine a situation where someone needed 10 dirty towels. How else can we leave them if we're two going on a slide?? Take them with us and slide with a towel in hand??? No matter how insistently I asked for towels, we were denied. It's not our fault that they can't organize service and work. Something could be done so that towels aren't taken at all or they could have made some hooks where they could be left while you slide down a slide. How can you imagine a water park without the possibility of using towels? We had to ride back wet. We couldn't take a shower because there was simply nothing to wipe ourselves with.
We are very disappointed with such service, inhumane treatment, and the negligence of the staff. This is my worst experience in Vietnam; I haven't encountered anything like this anywhere else. I don't advise anyone to come here at all. It's not worth the money and time at all!!! Ten years ago, the I-Resort was considered the most unpleasant place, but judging by the reviews, it's gotten better here, but I made sure that nothing good happened here. Rude staff, dirt, crowds of people, unjustified prices, and...
Read moreAfter hearing about this resort for quite some time, I finally made it to Nha Trang to experience it firsthand. Coming off a tiring day of travel, including a flight and transportation from the airport to downtown, I was ready to unwind.
The resort itself is impressively vast, and upon arrival, I noticed that tickets were available for purchase at the entrance. I took a moment to compare the prices with those offered on various online travel platforms, but I found that there wasn't a significant difference. This convenience allowed me to secure my ticket without any hassle.
Opting for the VIP package, I was thrilled to have access to all the signature experiences the resort had to offer. This included indulging in a mud bath, a dark chocolate massage, an herbal bath, a foot massage, as well as access to the public pools and the waterpark. Among these, the mud bath and chocolate massage stood out as the most memorable, as they provided me with unique and delightful experiences that I had never tried before.
If you plan on visiting this resort, I would highly recommend setting aside at least a whole day, from morning to afternoon, to fully immerse yourself in everything it has to offer. There is so much to explore and enjoy, and you wouldn't want to miss out on any of the experiences available.
Additionally, I suggest bringing your own swimsuit to the resort. While they do provide swimsuits for those who need them, they are often reused after being washed. If you prefer to have your own, it's best to bring it along for your comfort and peace of mind.
In conclusion, if you're seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, I highly recommend this resort. With its array of unique offerings, including the mud bath and chocolate massage, it provides a truly special and memorable escape. Take the time to fully immerse yourself in the resort's offerings and prepare for a day of...
Read moreMy family has come here many times. But this time when we returned after 1 year, we found that i-resort's service was much worse than before. At every step of the experience, staff will block you with rigid rules. The staff did not let me bring food for children (4-6 years old) except milk and nutritional porridge, while my family explained that we did not bring any food or drinking food, 4 children ate macrobiotic foods and bread dipped in soy sauce, a baby with atopic eczema should eat separate foods. At the ticket checkpoint, the staff asked my family to open our backpacks and take out our clothes to look at the bottom of the backpack. When we get to the changing area, the staff gave us the number of locker keys and ask for 2 people per locker. If it's not enough, then we have to return to the counter to take more. When we arrived at the mud bath area, it was announced that everyone had to wear short-sleeved swimsuits. I explained that everyone had already changed the clothes, but there was a 10-year-old girl who only wanted to wear her swimsuit, a one-piece swimsuit. but the staff still insisted that this was a rule. Even though I asked why it needed to be short-sleeved so I could thank of solution, the staff didn't know and he told me that was the rule?! Another rule is that if you buy boiled eggs from the resort, you can only sit in one designated area to eat. That area includes 3 rows of tables, accommodating 30 people. I asked if there was any other area because there was no more blank slot, the answer is "nowhere, this is the regulation".
This was one of my worst service experiences. If the resort wants to control all operations in a rigid way like this, I personally refuse to visit i-resort again.
Besides, the quality of mud and facilities were fine to experience if you have low expectation...
