We booked this apartment last minute as our original booking elsewhere was cancelled last minute, it was TET and not much available so we booked in here for 2 weeks. ||||The apartments are big and spacious. Nice furnishings with a big comfy bed. Clean fresh linen and towels. Good wifi. Large tv. Kitchen area. Staff are OK. ||||Unfortunately there is a lot wrong with lily apartments so I definitely would not recommend it.||||1. NOISE. Do not expect to sleep here. It's built on a busy road and there is traffic noise all night. The juggernauts and buses trundle by and it's so loud they literally shake the building. There is also a public address loud hailer just outside which starts messaging loudly at 5 am. There is no soundproofing or double glazing on the building so it's deafening. There is no point in asking for a room at the back as that looks over two very close large construction sites with machinery and hammers all day.||||2. It's 2 kilometres out of town or a 30 minute walk. Taxis are cheap enough. But to get to a good choice of restaurants you need to go into town. Not much around Lily. ||||3. Housekeeping not good. Read moreStay – January 2020 for 14 nights, King room with balcony. || LiLy Apartments is newly built and therefore modern finish. The room is large with kitchen area, sofa area and large comfortable bed.|| The apartment is located on a extremely busy four way junction with an very high volume of traffic (cars, bikes, buses, trucks) which tend to blast their horns constantly throughout the day and night. Moreover the trucks seem to more run through the night, blasting their horns. Also there is a PA speaker outside, which blasts out announcements early hours of the morning and throughout other hours of the day.|| Give that the hotel is new the sound proofing is non existent ie, single glazed windows and no adequate door seals. Therefore very noisy even with the balcony doors closed. Due to high noise level it wasn’t comfortable to use the balcony.|| The housekeeping is hit and miss and cleaning basic ie, change towels. We had to strip the bed after 6 nights so as to get clean bedding. If any food left out you’ll get an ant invasion. The fridge freezer had a very strong lingering odour. || The hotel location is away from the tourist area and more in a working suburb (garages, small businesses). There are a few restaurants around, but these offer menu’s in only Vietnamese, so difficult to order. Little to do in this area. You can walk into town (30 mins) or taxi for just over £1 (30k dong) . || We booked this apartment based on positive reviews!! Given that we had booked and paid for 14 nights here we unfortunately had to accept all the downsides. We would not recommend this hotel apartment. We’d advise booking accommodation more towards the beach front / centre of town, where it will unbelievably be quieter and more on...
