Ninh Binh Bungalow Homestay — Hotel in Ninh Bình Province

A very pleasent stay full of local flavors! Getting there by walking is nearly impossible, unless you are staying several days and can take your time. We walked for about 8km from the bus stop and as you may know Vietnam is not really walker's friendly so we decided to get a taxi, luckily, Thao (the host) got us one in a matter of minutes (thumbs up to her!). The surroundings are very charming and the landscape, enhanced by a beautiful blue sky, is just what everyone needs! No need to worry about transportation as you can rent bycicles and bikes directly here. The food is prepared by both hosts, sometimes by Thao and other times by her husband. My girlfriend and I visited Ninh Binh and stayed at this homestay for a couple of days. It’s a family run and they were all adorable and helpful.||The room was very basic, but that’s what we expected/paid for. ||The family served us an amazing home cooked meal on both nights which was the real seller of the place.||Our only negatives were that:||1. You will need to rent bikes to get around, but the homestay can provide them.||2. They have a pet monkey that they keep changed to a tree day and night. It doesn’t make sense why they have one and seems quite cruel. Avoid if you find this sort of thing uncomfortable.||Otherwise, a...

This place is Amazing!!! At first it may seem hard to get to but this was totally the right move - it’s really close to the places you want to visit in the area(Bai Dinh Pagoda & Trang river) the drive is spectacular chance to see the nature this rural are have to offer!! The Bungalow itself have everything you mite need/want and whatever you mite need.

Thao and the family are amazing as well and would arrange and help you with anything with from dinner/lunch/breakfast(Vegan or not)/coffee to Motocycle rental. Their garden, house pets and the atmosphere is, again just amazing.
