This place is a perfect get away. The beach is a dream like picture with fishing boats in the distance at night The sound of the sea drifts you to sleep. The bungalows with ac are superb with really high quality bedding - deep luxurious pillows The sea view rooms at the front are also wonderful. The staff here are excellent. Whilst Steve the co owner welcomed us with a much needed cold beer - he also got involved with guests as much or as little as you need. You can choose to join the family Vietnamese dinner and it is by far the best value dinner I have eaten in Vietnam. Delicious and loads of vegetarian options. Games you can join if you wish but you can also choose to just lie on the comfortable lounger overlooking the sea and just chill. The Icing on the cake are the wonderful Vietnamese staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always willing to chat , help out and in general were such a joy to meet. I intend to come back to Vietnam after being here a year at this stage and one of my first escapees will be to this spot - I may not leave Steve 🤣. You have been warned !!! Best of luck to life’s a beach My advise to you is go and enjoy - if you like it - review it - if you don’t- write to Steve and tell him what the problem is - this is a special place and needs to stay that way Thank you for making one of my last weekends in...

Had an amazing stay at life’s a beach! Very relaxing, beautiful setting. Great food and the shared family dinners with all the staff and other people staying were so special! Thuong (Not sure if the spelling) makes a fantastic cocktail! Good vegetarian options as well. The staff was so lovely and kind and helpful (love you Vi), a few spoke little English but are very keen learners and the board games/activities planned each night encouraged them to practice their language skills and chat with the guests. Loved getting to know everyone here and their stories. The rooms were basic but comfortable, shared bathroom was clean, amazing ocean views and wonderful to fall asleep to. Lots of hammocks to lounge in and good happy hour deals throughout the day. Beach access to a secluded beach was lovely also, some big waves but still great for swimming. There’s some rubbish scattered along the beach but this is the reality of travelling Asia! Pick it up when you see it! We used the laundry service which didn’t come out so clean, but staff apologized profusely and took it off our bill with no hesitation. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing fun cozy time. We stayed 3 nights and wished we had a few more!! Will definitely come...

This was hand's down the best hostel I have ever stayed at and a highlight of my time backpacking in Vietnam. Gavin, Steve and the staff all treat you like family and make sure that you have a great time. There were family dinners most evenings followed by games and drinking with other guests and the staff. I greatly enjoyed playing dominoes while drinking beers and chatting with the staff, sometimes using google translate for more complicated conversations. Everything from the bar was delicious and strong, and there were happy hour throughout the day with amazing deals. The hostel is located directly on the the water and has a quasi-private beach. I highly recommend booking a private room so you can enjoy the stunning sunrises and sunsets from your balcony. There are also scooters available to rent on site, which is super convenient. I did not know how to drive a semi-auto bike, so the staff even taught me how! It is only a 20 minute ride to Quy Nhon, so it is easy to run into the city to sightsee or shop. I truly do not have enough good things to say about Life's a Beach, and in my opinion it is simply a must-book. P.S., If Steve or Gavin are having a waterfall tour that day you...

Took my family here during our Vietnam tour What a great decision it was. We stayed in a family glamping tent which was a 15 second walk to the beach. Air con in the tent is good although not the same as staying in a sealed room so temper your expectations. We moved into the main compartment and sealed it off and all was good. Great showers. The family meals in the evening are fantastic and a great way to meet people. They kept coming with the food and we were stuffed by the end of it with a really eclectic range of local food. There's a pool table, table tennis and the beach is really clean although the water does have microscopic jellyfish larvae which can cause occasional tingles and stinginess but it's nothing to worry about especially as there are showers right next to the beach. It's better to swim early or later in the day apparently. The people that work here are all really positive and helped us arrange our transport onwards to Hoi An for a very reasonable cost. Steve, one of the owners was particularly friendly and helpful. If you want a chill experience where you get to meet similar like minded travellers then this is a great place to go. They even give you a free drink on arrival!
