The homestay in Tay Ninh is an oasis of peace in a chaotic world. Instantly, the hosts will make you feel as though you truly are at home - as if you have just returned, and they're glad to have you back.
The homestay is easy to find, and is located on a secluded and peaceful street, with friendly neighbours. If you like animals, there are three kittens in the homestay and dogs in the main house. Colourful flowers and plants decorate the outside gardens, while tasteful and comfortable furniture can be found inside. The sound of the running water from the fish pond will help put you at ease, a welcome change from the sound of traffic, and you can sit for hours watching the fish dart around the pond if you have the time to spare. If you love sunsets, you can watch the sunset from the roof terrace as it casts a pink glow over the local temple.
The kitchens are fully equipped with blenders, microwaves and induction hobs - if you're not sure how to use these, just ask. For Phương, the wonderful hostess, there is no such thing as a stupid question, and she will be happy to help in any situation.
The dorm room has aircon, though in the day the windows can be left open to reveal a lovely view. The private rooms are very comfortable too, and worth the price, especially with the views of the mountain from the balcony rooms. Though the homestay is one of the more expensive places to stay in Tay Ninh, this is because it is of a higher quality and offers facilities and a level of comfort which most accommodations here do not.
For those who want to try the local cuisine rather than cook for themselves, there are many restaurants nearby, especially for vegetarians and vegan, thanks to the unique local religion, Cao Daism. The homestay is close to their main temple.
I strongly recommend staying here - you can sense that for the homestay owner, the happiness of her guests is what makes her happy, a truly...
Read moreIt was a very lovely experience. I was quite insecure at first when I searched for a homestay in a very quite place like Tay Ninh then came up with a name like this; even when knowing the price; however, seeing lovely pictures and comments from people who stayed, I decided to give it a try. So we went there, and here were the things I really love in this place: _ Large space with a huge garden at the front so you would feel comfy walking in. _ Amazing house architecture ( see photos for further insights) _ Very friendly and supportive hosts. We were welcomed with yummy guavas and mangoes and also guided with places to enjoy. _ Full-facilitated room. _ The price to rent motorbikes might be quite high in comparison to other places but the fuel will be filled when you receive them. _ I love the balcony. _ They have dogs
Read moreWhat a precious adress to me ! To be a guest here has been the best thing that happened to me during my trip in South Vietnam. The very warm and welcoming attitude of the manager, was in itself the first treasure. The homestay, located in a side alley in a lush and peaceful environnement, is the second. Bright, top clean and spacious, the rooms are very well arranged, decorated and cozy. So are the large common areas (the hall and kitchen), also very agreable to live. Not to mention the underrated rooftop, that has become my favorite place at first sight. Or the fish pond nested on the building's side, that adds some more charm to the property. I wish I could have stayed a little...
