Pax Ana Resort is the perfect place for people of all ages. This resort offers affordable rooms and activities, and consistently exceeds hotel expectations.
Upon check-in, my family was notified in both English and Vietnamese of the services that this resort offers by one of their lovely employees - Thùy Nguyễn. She gave us a tour of their available rooms and answered our questions politely, all whilst providing us with refreshing complimentary lemonade. Thùy personally connected with us through Viber/Whatsapp incase of any inquiries or issues during our stay. On every occasion, she was quick to respond and cater directly to our needs (e.g. needing extra towels).
The ‘Pax Seaview’ room is located on the upper level of the main building. The room itself has a beautiful view of the resort’s pool and garden area. The bathroom within the room is extremely clean and has complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton buds, hair combs, shower cap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Two complimentary water bottles are replaced everyday by room service, in addition to the selection of drinks available within the mini fridge. This room also has free WiFi and appliances such as a safe, kettle, hairdryer and flashlight, available for use. Each morning, staff offer to drive you to the resort’s restaurant for breakfast via golf cart. Breakfast itself is included, and has both traditional Vietnamese and western cuisine. The restaurant overlooks gorgeous Dốc Lết Beach, and is available from 0700 until 2200. For 4 days and 3 nights, our stay in the ‘Pax Seaview’ room cost a total of $265 AUD (around $4,000,000 VND).
The sand at Dốc Lết Beach is soft and clean, and the water is crystal clear. I would definitely recommend visiting this beach to people who are afraid of the ocean as marine life, rubbish and seaweed are easy to avoid. The location of this resort is the perfect distance from the beach. If I come back to Dốc Lết, I’d definitely book a Beachfront Bungalow at...

Overall, my stay at Pax Ana Dốc Lết was a mixed bag. While the location offered a peaceful retreat, the lack of transportation options and amenities proved to be a significant drawback.
Location: The hotel's location was indeed serene, providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. However, the lack of readily available transportation options made it challenging to explore the surrounding area without relying on expensive taxis. Service and Facilities: Unfortunately, the hotel's service and facilities fell short of expectations. The absence of bike rental options limited my ability to explore the neighborhood independently, and the high cost of taxis made it impractical to venture out frequently. Room Comfort: The room itself was comfortable, but the noisy ceiling fan made it difficult to sleep. Despite lodging a complaint, the staff informed me that the issue could only be resolved after my departure, which was disappointing. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the hotel could be improved. On one occasion, I noticed food items left unattended in front of my door for an entire day, which was unsanitary. Additionally, the lack of proper drainage led to wet and slippery conditions during rainy weather. Meal: While the food at the hotel's restaurant was not the worst I've experienced, it didn't meet the standards of a 5-star establishment. The "Cơm chiên lá é" was overly oily, and the food was served cold. Furthermore, the service was slow, and the breakfast options were limited.
Conclusion: While the peaceful location was a positive aspect, the shortcomings in terms of transportation, facilities, cleanliness, and meal quality detract from the overall experience. If you're seeking a comfortable and convenient stay, I would recommend exploring other options...
Read moreGreeting from an interational traveller :-) It was a great pleasure staying at Pax Ana Doc Let, a brand of Ana Mandara I believe. Needless to say, the resort is surrounding with beautiful landscape, designed to match each single unit with relaxed garden view or ocean view. Ít is one of a kind from Ana Mandara resort chain. Starting with check-in, our group of 30 pax got their rooms promptly and some of us even got a free upgrade. The rooms were super clean, fresh, furnished well, and the bathroom with open concept to the nature. The Doc Let beach is crystal blue under the sunlight and ít is actually better than caribean from my personal experience. Walking around the resort was a memorable experience filling with the green landscape along the shoreline and ít can’t be relaxed more than this environment. With foods and drinks, omg… ít is one of my dying thing when travelling lol. The Ana Beach House restaurant offers both eastern and western courses that made my staying more perfect. The seafoods were freshly caught and cooked in many styles like steaming, grilling, or marinated. The breakfast menu was also great with many choices of local menu or western menu. The services were too polite and details. I can hop on the electrical wagon cruising around the resort at anytime. Will, it was a lenghthy review from me but it was worth my time writing it. Thanks to Pax Ana Doc Let for offering such a place on earth and I was fortunated staying here. Keep up the great works the Pax Ana Doc Let and I will be back next month...
