NovaWorld Phan Thiet — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

I recently had a disappointing experience at Nova Land Phan Thiet that I felt compelled to share. Despite paying a significant amount for a villa, the service and accommodations were far below expectations.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with an immediate inconvenience: a water outage. This made it extremely difficult to settle in, and we were left without basic facilities for a couple of hours. This was just the beginning of our troubles. The villa, while visually appealing, had serious issues including an air conditioning unit that didn’t work properly. With the heat becoming unbearable, we struggled to find relief throughout our stay.

The cleanliness standards were shockingly poor. We encountered cockroaches and other bugs in the kitchen, which was both unsettling and unacceptable for a place in this price range. Additionally, the pool was dirty, with visible dirt at the bottom, making it uninviting and unsafe for swimming. The bedsheets in our villa were stained and appeared to have not been washed, further adding to our discomfort.

To make matters worse, the garbage near the playground was not cleared away, which detracted from the overall atmosphere and made the property feel neglected. The staff, including security and the lifeguards, often came across as rude, which was disheartening. Instead of addressing our concerns or providing assistance, they seemed indifferent and unprofessional.

Overall, my experience at Nova Land Phan Thiet was frustrating and disappointing. The combination of poor service, inadequate maintenance, and a lack of cleanliness overshadowed any positive aspects of the resort. Given the high price we paid, I had expected much better. Although the rooms were very nice looking there were ants and insect crawling everywhere. The towels and pillows had a smell. The supposed cleaning crew left lots of our body washes and shampoos empty. We also had a house where the back door would not lock yikes!

My kids enjoyed the pool and beach but we almost got our shoes taken and the golf cars take forever to arrive. We kept calling the service 3-4 times and they didn’t reply after they said they would arrive in 5 minutes, 20 minutes earlier.(probably hire more people to drive)

We also went to the amusement park and alot of the expressions of the staff there were angry or bored and not very joyful for a circus theme. There aren’t many food options especially for my picky kids and lots of places are very far. I stayed in a Oc Villa which was 2km far from the Bikini beach. The villa was quite clean and comfortable with kitchen and equipments, only one thing, the mattreses were so hard that affected my sleep. As the whole Novaworld project was not completed, the villa was a bit isolated. The host and service staff were nice.
