Hoang Ngoc Hotel — Hotel in Pleiku

We were charged 400.000 vnd for a standard room, more than the prices we could find online, the staff did not speak any English and wanted us to hand over both our passports, we refused to give them passports. some minibar drinks and snacks was available but no prices ( we are also not falling for that trick ) so found a shop to buy drinks and snacks. Price/Quality is good. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and nice :-) Mattress is good for Vietnamese standards. Staff at the reception is helpfull. Other staff does not speak English and is just pointing at the reception. As a breakfast they served bread with eggs without asking what we wanted or showing a menu.. I think they are not relly used to have foreigners as their guests. They can still learn a lot, but have the possibility to be a good hotel in the future. A good hotel, nice big room with air con and a small balcony. Mini bar also included some food items which was handy. Very clean with a very comfy big bed. Has a cafe downstairs which sells drinks but not food. However if you walk around to the back of the hotel there is a great restaurant, Ngon 3 Mien, where we had one of the best meals we have had in Vietnam.
