I stayed two nights with my daughter in a River View Twin room (#314). This is a good hotel with basic services, considering that Quang Ngai is not a touristic site such as Hoi An or Da Nang. The view of the river and the bridge from the room was great. The staff at the reception did not speak English so well and did not seem to understand the booking system via Expedia. He did not even understand what a credit card was. He said the Riverview Twin was not available, though I showed him the printed page of Expedia that says I had booked for a Twin instead of Double. After a couple of minutes' talk on a phone, however, he said a Twin is available. I guess this staff was not a regular one, because it was Sunday. Maybe he got nervous facing an unexpected guests who looked like him but do not speak Vietnamese (I'm Japanese). The staff on the next 2 days spoke English and everything went OK. Read moreAte sea food Hot Pot here and drank beer while watching the coloured lights from the bridges flicker on the rive ...its as nice a spot as you might find in Quang Ngai. Staff tried hard and some spoke OK English...enough to assure my dining companion there were no Snails included (!!). They do have English langauge menu and wester style food available. Food was quite good with fresh squid, prawns and King fish all going into the pot. Later the atmosphere changed as the 3 VIP rooms warmed up and began to belt out the obligatory Karaoke...either amusing local touch or an annoyance according to your tolerance level. A nice spot...better food...
