Huong Viet Hotel Quy Nhon - Beachfront — Hotel in Quy Nhơn

Upon arrival at the hotel a man greeted us to take our baggage from our car but he was wearing a hoodie and no uniform. We told him to stop as we did not know he was from the hotel until he said so. I would suggest to have all staff in proper uniform so that we can distinguish whom he is from any random person on the street. The check in process was easy enough but when entering our room the air conditioner was not working correctly and we had to change rooms. The room itself was okay and spacious besides the smell of cigarettes throughout the hotel, the bathroom is another story. The drainage system is one of the most ridiculous idiotic things I have ever seen and I have stayed in the village towns of Vietnam that have a better thought out drainage system than this shower. The shower next to the glass had a small opening that went out to a drainage hole with drainage trays on either side of the shower in an L shape towards the drainage hole. This did not drain properly and resulted in water entirely soaking the whole floor of the bathroom area. If you are looking for a brothel/massage parlour this place is for you. The sign at reception for massage with 3 options of normal, VIP and 4 hands which is not the regular massage options you would expect at a hotel. Giving it the benefit of the doubt our family went up to the massage level and had 2 of our family opting for the normal massage. In the middle of their massage they were offered sexual services specifically BOOM BOOM for 800,000.00 dong. This is quite shocking that a massage service as part of the hotel was offering this! Despite the fact that this is a 4 stars hotel, I could say that the hotel is not good enough. All of the windows here are wrapped by a thin layer of plastic, leaving behind a lot of small or large bubbles which is definitely not a good sign for viewing the city. If you want to see the city with clearence, you'll have to open a window, but the window here is kinda dangerous. It low and very easy for the kids to fall out. The buffet is okay I guess. The tile on the dining area arre the tiles you see in some random garden which created a poor design feeling. And lastly the pool isnt in the bét condition. A great place to stay!

The hotel is located at the central of Quy Nhon and very closed to the beach. You can see the beach clearly when you stay in room. Room is very clean, room decorations are equiped with lot of good wood which make room fragant scent naturally. Although the hotel has been built long time but room amennities are very luxury and stable, washroom is very clean. The swmming pool is very beautiful and it is at the top floor of hotel.
