I was most happy with my stay at the Phuc Hung 2 Hotel. Upon arriving I had some dirty clothes that needed cleaning which I handed to the receptionist. The clothes were returned to my room the next day cleaned and ironed, great service !! Although the hotel personnel could not speak English, I was able to communicate effectively using a translating app. on the tablet I was using. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, with refrigerator, AC, and flat screen TV. There was even a common house gecko (lizard) on the wall to keep me company ha ha. I am satisfied with the amenities the hotel provides, but cleanliness of the hotel was questionable. In addition, there were cockroaches on a floor in the lobby, and very poor sound isolation. Staff was courteous, but with a very limited/non existent English.|On a positive side, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby.|If I were to stay overnight in Rach Gia again, I would look somewhere else.
