First and foremost, the hospitality here is exceptional—truly a 10 out of 5! In fact it started right after I made the booking online. The host reached out to offer various assistance, including arranging transportation from Hanoi to Moc Chau. She travels frequently and recommended a reliable limousine service, which I’m so glad I chose—the driver was clearly experienced and familiar with the homestay.
The homestay itself is a perfect place to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere. The highlight for me was the super welcoming Rosie, along with the adorable kitties and doggos. Also a homely prepared fireplace! They added so much charm to the experience! I was genuinely sad to leave them behind.
The drinks offered were outstanding, especially the matcha macchiato, which quickly became a favorite. We ordered quite a few other drinks and enjoyed them nonetheless despite our short stay there.
Breakfast options were plentiful and diverse, and of course, I couldn’t resist trying Bun Cha while in Vietnam. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared.
The host also recently opened a new restaurant just an 11-minute walk from the homestay, and it was absolutely worth visiting. The set menu, priced at 250k per person, left us very full and satisfied. After the meal, we took a leisure walk around the beautifully decorated restaurant, which was set up for Christmas and soon for the Tet Holiday. The space also felt like a mini farm, complete with rabbits, chickens, cats, dogs, and vegetable gardens. The host even gave us a mini tour—such a unique and delightful experience!
As we visited during winter, I was impressed by the thoughtful addition of a heater in the bathroom, which made a huge difference. (For those planning a visit, February is highly recommended for the best views of the plum trees!)
TL;DR: Stop searching and just book your stay here—you’ll be incredibly well taken care of. This homestay truly goes...
Read moreWe stayed here for 2 nights. The homestay is more like an ecolodge with a beautiful garden. It feels like in the Shrine in the Lord of the Rings. If you need a lunch and dinner let them know in advance. They will give you a delicious meal. The salad is from their garden. The garden itself is kept tidy by the family and it is gorgeous. Our hosts are very lovely, one of them can speak English. The room is nice, new with comfy bed and AC. This place is connected to the nature so expect some small ants, but it was not bothering us. The little doggy Rosie is very cute. You can't pay here with card. You can go to the Night market, for having a dinner and cocktail. The host can help you...
Read moreWe booked Gobies Garden half a year in advance for a trail marathon, and it was absolutely worth the wait! The experience was fantastic. The property features five charming small houses within a spacious garden, offering guests plenty of privacy. The gardenscaping is straight out of a dream home: fruit trees, a scenic bridge, beautiful botany, a serene lotus pond with koi fish, a bonfire area, a cozy bar, and even adorable pets to keep you company.
Although there’s no TV in the homes, it wasn’t an issue for us—most of our time was spent resting and soaking in the tranquility of nature. Gobies Garden is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with the outdoors....
