I understand this is located so far out from any place of tourist value. I understand this probably reflects the best of the local demographics. The area is not modernised. There are however a sprinkling of ATMs to be found. A nearby radio tower spouting news at 5am daily has not been deconstructed. The area is stuck in the times. Promising maybe, but not today. ||Our air conditioning did not work. I kindly asked the receptionist and it was quickly fixed whilst we had dinner downstairs. Wifi accessibility was surprisingly strong. The best I had experienced during my four days in Vietnam. Dinner was basic. I did enjoy the fried fish doused in a sweet tomato sauce. There was not much else that stood out| Breakfast was an almost saviour. Although I do tend to have an Asian palate in the morning. Read moreNot much hotel choice in this part of the world- this place is pretty grim. Dirty, stained sheets, a trickle of warm water, and a loud speaker wake up call right outside front of hall with the 5 am public broadcast. (Admittedly not the hotel's fault but if you have to stay here, ask for an upper level room at the Rear!) The air con functioned so being cool was...
