Considering the noise level both late at night and early in the morning by staff, one has to wonder if they understand that this is a place to sleep. The rooms could undergo some serious renovation with paint peeling off faucets , cleaning of rooms being questionable. There is a it of low hanging fruit to fix too; new tea pots, new towels (they smell damp) and water heater.
Really... BUY NEW TOWELS.
The location is really good and the entrance is nice. Their English is non-existent as far as I can tell. Between location and everything else it is still the place I choose after trying another two...

The mixed nautical and stuffed animal theme was interesting. I have never seen this before. The beds were comfy and it is close enough to the best coffee shop in the world that I can walk. You can't beat the price and it does the trick. The lobby is fancy and the rooms are not. No issues...
