Fisherman Village Boutique Villas — Hotel in Tan Thang

Thanks to Hai, his wife and the house keeper for a fantastic stay! This is a really nice place if you are looking for a genuine Vietnamese experience. The house is located just outside a small fishing village, with plenty of very local restaurants and small shops which we found really cool. No western influence. We had a great time. We were using "Goog... translate" with the locals. Hai and his wife were helping us whenever we needed help, with suggestions, transportation, food or any possible questions both before and during our stay. The endless beach is just a few meters away, and you have it all for yourself. This is one of the few places with 4 sunbeds. The place is new. Hence, the air condition works perfect and fast, and without any noise. Internett is fantastic and we could work online as if we were at home. Hai’s house is great. Clean and everything works. It’s a little bit quirky (good) and obviously his family love the place.

He has two houses, each with a private pool so we chose the smaller house with the bigger pool. The beach is at the bottom of the garden and it’s just a few hundred meters to where the fishing boats come in. There’s a small cafe on the beach for coffee. There are local shops around 500 meters away but we chose to walk the 2km up to the main town and buy fresh fish and vegetables at the local market.

The place is secure because there is a resident caretaker who looks after things and has been very responsive to our needs.

My friends recommended me to stay vacation here with my family, and that's a great experience with the convenient villa adjacent to the wild beach where my son could find the fish jumping out of the wave at sunshine and ask me to take photo for him at sunset. Our small family also get the help from the friendly old man who still has specific local tone of this region and nicely buy seafood from the fisherman around to cook in the traditional primitive way, and we had enjoyed such a night under the stars in the sound of wave. We will come back here many times next year when we could stay longer with my friends and...
